I have been teaching private lessons now for over two years. I specialize in teaching children and teens and am a student favorite at Take Lessons with a collection of wonderful reviews from students and their parents. I am a very thorough and patient teacher. However, I expect a MINIMUM of three days a week of practice from all of my students at a length of time equal to lesson length. Without adequate practice, the student cannot flourish in fine-tuning their skills and could ultimately end up disappointed. This is completely avoidable with diligent practice.
For my younger students (ages 6-11) I utilize the Little Singers series of text written by Gregory Blankenbehler. For ages 12 and up, I utilize The Contemporary Singer: Elements of Vocal Technique written by Anne Peckham, one of my most influential Berklee professors. In addition to these texts I incorporate the use of the Vaccai: the Practical Method of Italian Singing as well as many various traditional, jazz, pop, and r&b ...

Words will never be enough to express what Danielle has done for my daughter and her love of singing. Danielle has shown so much patience and commitment through her instruction and has boosted my daughters confidence 110%. She knows how to chose the perfect song for Alexis' voice and the emails that she sends after each session provide the proper tools for my daughter to carry out her 1 hour session to a full week. I could not have picked a better vocal coach for my daughter.

Voice study is the secret to success for many contemporary vocal artists. My lessons are designed to teach you how to make your voice sound more powerful, how to use vocal technique to expand your range and expression, and how to become more confident in vocal performances. Born in the Midwest, I spent seven graduate years in Paris performing, teaching, and researching. I have come to see music lessons as both a personal process of body awareness and harnessing mental energy, and as an interpersonal process of exploring the dynamic between student and teacher. I currently sing with the Minnesota Chorale and the Bach Society of Minnesota.
About Laura

I have been a professional singer and actor for over 20 years. Throughout my career, I coached my fellow professionals on the techniques I have developed to improve my vocal quality, projection, range, and stamina - in all those years I have only missed one 45 minute set due to vocal fatigue. I’ve coached musical theatre performers, actors who want to add “singing” to their resume, professional singers, beginners (both children and adults) and everything in between.

I'm a passionate professional vocalist and a fourth generation music educator. With 20+ years of professional performing, coaching and teaching experience under my belt, I emphasize rhythm and musicality alongside technique and note reading. I always set myself the goal of learning what makes a mus

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

Juliet is an awesome teacher, I am taking singing lessons and have only had a few, but already notice a huge difference. The sessions are very relaxed and comfortable. Which was kind of important to me because I've never sang in front of anybody in my life and am shy.
I would recommend Juliet to anybody seeking professional instruction."

Best vocal coach EVER and I canât say enough positive things about her! My voice rocks because of her insights, training and expertise and if I could give her 100 stars instead of 5 I would."

Thanks so much for making her first class memorable!"
