I have a personal approach to each student. I believe that everyone is different so the job of the instructor is to figure out what works for a particular student and how to present it best for faster, better understanding. I also believe that a good teacher is one that not only teaches the violin but plays it actively, professionally.

Scrupulous attention to the correct form and posture to avoid muscul tention; training music memory which allowes students to not only to perform music memorized, but also to strengthen and develope memory in geveral, which I believe to be conditional rather that innate, thus helping children to retain academic information efficiently and helping adults to fight memory loss due to aging. I also encourage students to participate in recitals which is exciting and gratifying as a goal achievement and helps to overcome stage fright which is essential in public performance in general including public speaking. I teach students of all ages starting at 2,5 years old to 90 years old and older.

As a music instructor, I am eager to cater to the needs of each individual child and to provide them with engaging musical experiences in supportive environments. I have previously provided violin, viola, and piano lessons to students of all ages both through Thompson Tutoring in Portage, Michigan and Reverb Lessons in Chicago, Illinois. I have approximately six years of private teaching experience.

I recently graduated from Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts with a Master of Music Degree in Viola Performance. In 2016, I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Viola Performance and Spanish. My performance experience includes both local and international venues. I have performed locally throughout the Southwest Michigan area, in orchestras such as the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, Whiting Park Symphony Orchestra, Holland Symphony Orchestra, and Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra.
