James Q was a great tutor to have. When I was having problems with C++, he was able to explain it to me as simply as possible. In what took the professor a month to attempt teach me, it took James only a week to go over and get me to comprehend. With the professionalism and and capability to access and determine the best method of passing on pertinent information to his audience, James would make a great teacher or professor. I highly recommend him.

I have expertise in the areas of probability, statistics, and quantitative modeling. I studied these topics in a financial engineering and operations research context, and currently work in an analytical position at a top investment bank where I apply my quantitative modeling skills. I currently work in a highly analytical role at a top investment bank where I utilize advanced concepts in statistics / probability and quantitative risk-modeling techniques commonly taught in financial engineering courses to manage the firm’s credit risk and trading exposure. I am looking to help students understand the concepts taught in advanced statistics and probability courses from a practical perspective! I also provide resume editing and interview coaching services, as I know this was one of the toughest parts of being a graduate student!
