ABOUT ME I began taking both voice and piano lessons at the age of 11, after years of sitting outside my older sisters' clarinet lessons and wishing to study music, myself. I fell in love with music at my very first lesson, and knew that it was what I would do with my life. I went on to attend New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, where I received my Bachelor of Music in vocal performance, and then onto Longy School of Music of Bard College, where I am currently working on my Masters in vocal performance and continuing piano as a secondary instrument. I've been playing the guitar for twenty-six years now, and I've been working as a guitar teacher for the last twenty years. I've been making a living as a guitar teacher in the Boston area for fourteen years now, and I teach in two locations - Brighton and Dedham. Prior to that I also taught at Guitar Attention Center in Springfield, Ohio while I was in college, where I graduated with honors at Wright State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications.
