About Sabrina
I've been banging on the piano since I was 3, but piano became more structured when I turned 7 and I've loved it so much since then. I've been classically trained and have 15 years piano playing experience. My favorite genre is Modern Japanese Classical music (fancy name for anime and video game music).
I have been teaching students for six years. People aren't intimidated when I am around and I believe students benefit greatly when they are comfortable with the teacher and can feel natural around them. The teaching process is most successful when the students share their ideas, disagreements, goals; when they are challenged and test their abilities.

*** Lesson Details ***
I am very laid back and love to laugh, but I do expect the students to be prepared and practice, this way they benefit the most from each teaching session. I
believe students should be involved in their curriculum, so I encourage all to bring in pieces THEY WANT to play because this will make the learning process overall more fun and enjoyable.
My trust is, if you practice regularly you can accomplish much in a short period of time. Whatever you put into piano, is what you will get out, whether great or small.

*** Specialties ***
Modern Japanese Classical. I like the Blues and Boogie genre also!! I also am very familiar with classical pieces from Scott Joplin, Rachmaninoff, Strauss, Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Chopin to name a few - which help make a well rounded musician.

About Elicia
I began violin lessons at age five, and was requested by the youth conductor to join the Palm Beach Youth Symphony a year later. For eight consecutive years, I performed with many other youth orchestras and served as concert mistress several times. At the age of thirteen, I auditioned for and joined The Venice Symphony during the 2004-2005 season and was a part of their ensemble for seven consecutive seasons, including the position as assistant principal. In addition to the Venice Symphony, I have also performed with the Sarasota Pops for two seasons, The South Shore Symphony Orchestra as assistant concert mistress and as concert mistress, and Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus and Orchestra. Recently, I relocated to the South Philly and performed with the Delaware County Symphony in Aston, PA, and the Rose Tree Pops located in Media, PA fo
r a ouple of years. Over the years I have had performing experience with violin duets and trios with a classical guitarist on a number of occasions for weddings, Christmas shows, and restaurant events. Some of my performance venues include the 800 Bay Restaurant and Club, the Four Seasons, the Sugarhouse Casino, and the Pyramid Club.

In addition to my musical career, I am also heavily training in the sport of ice dancing. Currently, my brother and ice dance partner, Stephen, and I are 3 time national competitors at the championship level with plans to compete internationally. Through my experience as a performer both in music and on the ice, I can give to each student not only the ability to create music through the violin, but also the mental ability to handle performing and competitive atmospheres.

*** Lesson Details ***
My lessons offer an extensive education in technique, musicality, music theory, and most importantly, effective practice methods that increase capability and skill rapidly. I tailor my lessons specifically according to the student's abilities and strengths, while incorporating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Typically, I use the Suzuki and Strictly Strings books for beginner students, and I will then advance to etude studies such as Wolfarht and Sevick in addition to the Suzuki sequels for my intermediate students. Lastly, I will add Introducing the Positions, Mazas, Josephine Trott Double Stops, and solo concertos to my advanced students.

After a few months, my students acquire a well rounded knowledge and feel for the violin and classical music and appreciate the art and beauty music brings to life. They are always strongly impacted and inspired to pursue and achieve higher goals and activities.

*** Studio Equipment ***
I have a living room with a grand piano, two music stands, and seating for parents.

*** Travel Equipment ***
My violin, a music stand, extra music, fingerboard tape, a metronome, stickers, and a tuner. I will expect my student to have his own violin and bow, a case, a shoulder rest, and music, music stand (can be portable), and a notebook for recording lesson assignments and corrections.

*** Specialties ***
I specialize in classical violin, and I have worked with the Suzuki Method, but I am also very open to other methods and schools.

My name is Ronald S. At the age of 9, I started playing the guitar for my Father's Gospel Group who is a great Gospel D.J. (Big Clyde). Through the years I have taken several guitar courses from several instructors. In the last seven months I have taken instructions from Mr. Christian, I have excelled further and have learned more than all my other adventures.

Micheal's business based environment in an open studio type classroom is a must. In Micheal's unique style of teaching you not only learn to play the guitar, but he also instructs you in song with a spirit of being well satisfied.

As shoppers pass through the store they enjoy the sounds of students playing their guitars following the guidance of Mr. Christian. This also gives his students a chance to perform in front of other people giving them a finer definitions for the art of music. If you are looking for a music instructor, one who focuses in on your difficult areas and searches for improvement to make you the best musician possible in all areas, or if you are just looking to learn and have lots of fun, then Mr. Christian is your contact. Please visit him at one of his jam sessions..

In April of this year, I retained Michael to instruct my 13 year old daughter, Jennifer, in guitar lessons. I was quite impressed with Mr. Michael right from the beginning.

Since I knew nothing about guitars, I had no idea what type of guitar to purchase for Jennifer. Mr. Christian offered on his own time to go with us to help in the purchase of the guitar. He kept in mind what we could afford and the quality of the guitars, it was very reassuring to know that he was looking out for our welfare and to be able trust him.

I am very impressed with the progress Jennifer has made in playing the guitar. She looked forward to her lessons with Mike. She looked forward to her lessons with Mike. He made the lessons interesting and "fun". Mike not only taught her to play the guitar but also how to read music and understand it.

Mike is a very kind, moral, talented young man and I recommend him highly. We are sorry to see him leave, however, our loss is your gain.

About Sara
Hello, and welcome to my page! My philosophy for singing is that a truly great singer is versatile, and that the ideal voice is a flexible instrument that can handle a variety of genres and styles.

My personal training is primarily in classical, and I have a Master's degree in classical voice/opera from Boston Conservatory at Berklee. However, I also actively sing pop, musical theater, and even heavy metal!

Singing can be challenging, and while I work with the student intensely to diagnose and fix vocal issues, it is very important to me that the student feels happy and confident. I encourage students to express their creativity by singing in styles that they feel comfortable with, choosing their own songs, and even adding their own riffs/runs/ornamentations.

I like to place a heavy focus on music theory and sight-singing (I
offer private lessons in these subjects separately as well); It is extremely important for young singers to be able to read the notes on the staff, to understand rhythm and key, and to find pitches on the piano.

I accept beginning-intermediate singers of all ages. I additionally offer music theory, sight-singing, and diction lessons as well as beginner/introductory piano.

About James
I'm currently a professor at EMMAT, a member school of the Berklee International Network. I have over a quarter-century experience teaching people of all backgrounds and styles. My education is a mix of formal and informal, and in addition, I have worked as a professional musician and singer my whole life.

I consider everybody that comes to me to be reachable and teachable, and pride myself on having accomplished what many people considered to be impossible with my students. I believe that through dedication and discipline anybody can accomplish their musical goals, no matter how hard it may seem.

In piano, I have my own custom method that borrows heavily from the exercises designed by Donhanyi. In voice, I follow closely the techniques taught by great teachers such as Seth Riggs and Brett Manning, but I have more than a few trick

Hey there! My name is Hannah, I have been teaching piano for about 7 years, and over that time had 15 students. They were all completely new to the piano (and music in general), but over time were able to read music, understand simple technique/theory, and play music both at home and in church. I love being able to take a completely new student who is willing to learn, and see him/her learn to enjoy (yes, enjoy ;) playing the piano.

About Samuel
I am professional guitarist, singer songwriter, composer and recording artist. I didn't start learning how to play guitar until the ripe old age of 16. I wasn't born with a guitar in my hand but I was fortunate enough to grow up in an area that was a hotbed of musical talent. Many of my friends became professional musicians and because of that I was inspired to learn. Learning the instrument didn't come easy for me, I had to work exceptionally hard at it. I paid for my own guitar lessons, and had many fine teachers. I know how important it is to get the very most out of every lesson and I am uniquely aware of my responsibility as a teacher to make music accessible and keep your passion alive. I'm a darn good guitarist but if you look far and wide you will find many better players, but a better teacher you will be hard to come by.

I'm a jack of all trades; I read, I play slide guitar, I teach theory, I play classical, classic rock, blues, acoustic finger style guitar, bass, ukulele. I'm a firm believer in giving you the tools you need to be successful on your own. I will also inspire you to reach for the very best of yourself. I want you to do more on the instrument (maybe even with your voice) then you ever would believe you could!

I have taught guitar for the last 2 decades and I love working with children and adults of all ages. I have many references available upon request.

He's a fully committed and energized instructor. I also can't believe what my son's playing sounds like. It's SO MUCH more interesting than the types of things a lot of teachers are doing.
