Guitar is my main instrument, I've spent thousands of hours playing and teaching. I can show you how to do pretty much anything you want to do or learn on guitar.

About Scott

Hi! I'm Scott. I usually perform using a one-man band setup I created. I modified guitar and made foot pedals to control a drum set, while singing. I have a recording studio at home, and have performed with bands as a singer, guitarist, saxophonist, bassist, percussionist, and as a sound engineer.

Wanted to share an update after multiple lessons - Scott is a virtuoso teacher - he has some many techniques and tricks for helping a person learn to sing - he's also able to start anyone signing right off the bat - not just learning scales or technique - it's so much more fun to learn while you are singing at the same time.
John
Scott is an incredible teacher - he brings so many years of experience and different techniques that I couldn't help but become a better singer!

Scott is amazing he was patient and support Scott started the fire and passion I once had so long ago. That I can not put a price tag on. As a Head Softball coach for 50 years I know how much that means.

Even it was my first lesson I can feel the progress and I am confident about achieving my goal. Thanks Ian!!

Ian is fantastic teacher. He was so patient with my toddler daughter. And when she became fuzzy during the class, Ian could be so creative to always come out with a way to calm her down and redirect her attention to other musical things. I would love him to be my daughter’s music teacher for as long as possible if I did not have to move.

Ian is very knowledgeable and is great in explaining theory and great in demonstrating so you can understand.

There is no method in music that works for all. From hearing the student playing on the first lesson, I immediately create a method that will work for this student and no one else. This is based on intuition and it comes from my knowledge and love form teaching music.

I started learning Ukulele with Kevin and then picked up Guitar lately, Kevin has a systematic way of teaching, instead of covering each and every chords, he summarizes them by different shapes, and also their variations, so you can memorize the basics and find their "relative" chords easier. He also taught music theories, how each chord is formed, and if you want to play a specific song, he's also glad to help on finding the exact chord and transfer them into different notes that suits you. Definitely have your notebook ready since there's a lot to learn. The harder thing for myself is with the online class, it's not as efficient as a face-to-face one, I also tend to be less motivated to practise but you ought to just find your own motivation!

I have been involved in singing for many years now and I can tell you that Kevin knows what he is doing with his special skills teaching voice and guitar. I feel lucky to have found him and I hope to continue learning from him for a long time.
Anthony
Kevin offers helpful advice and insight. An instructor with a deep understanding of music, he demonstrates a great ability to guide new students. He brought clarity to problems I experienced as a new guitar player. I highly recommend inviting Kevin into your music journey.

What sets me apart from many teachers is that I custom build each lesson to the students learning style and speed. I've been teaching as long as I can remember and one thing I've learned is not every students learns the same. Some students may learn things like reading and theory very quickly while they'll have difficulty with rhythm and tuning. As I teach the student I adapt the lessons to fit they're style of learning. As a result my students achieve faster results and become less frustrated in a shorter period of time.

About Justin

Hello, My name is Justin Rothberg. I've been passionately teaching guitar ever since I got into music school. I love teaching the gift of music and helping people enjoy it while they learn. What makes my teaching style different from others and my ability to adapt to students. As I get to know

Jeff is an awesome teacher and he teaches well. He knows his materials and he knows how to teach. For all the years that I have taken guitar lessons from Jeff has been very helpful and very patient. When he teaches me, I do not feel as if I am being rushed but rather I feel as if he encourages me to be the best guitarist that I can be."

"Years ago I took Guitar Lessons at a local music store ( a very prominent one) as a raw beginner and quickly became frustrated with my lack of progress. Although my teacher was a great player and "very hot" to look at I soon began to feel like I was merely his "practice dummy."... I'd play the chords he showed me, endlessly,... while he seemed to be just practicing his solo playing. ... I then tried On-Line Lessons from various sites which were actually even less helpful and soon just lost interest completely.
A friend of mine said she had taken lessons from a Don DeBold for about 5 years before going off to college and highly recommended him.
I've now been taking lessons from Don for almost 2 years and having a blast ! I've learned how to play along with most of my favorite songs (mainly Blues and Rock) and now I'm learning to play Solo Guitar that needs no accompaniment !
Unlike my first teacher, during many lessons Don barely plays or even has his Strat on his lap because he's busy concentrating on what I'm doing !
He's a stickler yet lots of fun at the same time> I super recommend him as a Guitar and Music Teacher !!! Aneiah J."
