Aaron is a great teacher - and I'm sure it doesn't matter what instrument he is teaching. For me, it's the banjo.

My spouse and I are not the only ones who are pleased... I am including here an excerpt of a social media post Rachel recently wrote: "About two years ago, my parents, my sister and I sat down on the couch to watch the TV show âX Factorâ. A girl named Rachel Crow came on and sang, admittedly, beautifully -- bringing my dad to tears. In a fit of uncharacteristic jealousy, I lashed out and screamed at him for liking her singing better than mine, singing being something I enjoy immensely. I sing every chance I get! I made it my goal to sing so well one day that my dad would cry as a result. About six months ago, I started working with a singing teacher, Nancy. I progressively have gotten better and my voice is more controlled. Fast forward to tonight, during an awesome evening with some family friends. I sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for them, a song I had been working on with Nancy. And⦠I did it! My dad cried as a result of my singing! I know it sounds small, but I was incredibly excited and I needed to share it!â"

Some people have difficulty reaching a teachers' studio. For this reason, I have perfected my ability to teach via Skype or FaceTime. It is an advantage for my students to be instructed by a quality teacher. One of the advantages for me is that I can see what is going on bigger than in real life. It's worth a try, isn't it?
*** Lesson Details ***
All the students on my Student YouTube channel who have studied under three years, are practicing 2 hours a week, and you will have a similar result. That's 20 minutes a day, 6 days a week. Students under 5 practice about 10-15 minutes a day.
Please have an assignment book that lies flat, and keep it next to your music books as you practice between lessons. My instructions are very detailed to insure your best progress.
You will benefit most by booking your lessons in advance by the semester, or at least by the month. Frequent cancellations will result in dismissal, as I wish only to teach committed, sincere and serious students...don't worry, my lessons are fun, and you will enjoy my sense of humor!
*** Studio Equipment ***
For on-line lessons, you will need a quiet place, and please test your sound and video prior to beginning of lesson. For students under 13 or so, do have a parent or caregiver taking notes while we work together.
*** Specialties ***
I have much experience with various learning styles, and in fact, am featured in a documentary made of one of my autistic students.

On a lark I found Stephanie on the takelessons site. We scheduled a call where I explained my experience, frustrations, and what I wanted to accomplish. I honestly did not think online classes would work. Was I wrong!! It takes great skill in verbally correcting bow holds, etc. and Stephanie is terrific. Before I was told to practice but I never knew HOW to. Stephanie assigns specific tasks, # of time to repeat, and duration for homework. She is so friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend her for any age or skill level??
With over 28 years experience, I have been teaching all ages, styles, and levels. This is not a hobby or part-time job. Performing and teaching is what I do.
