Get ready for a great experience! I've been playing guitar for over 11 years. I have played lead guitar in contemporary worship teams and lead worship for a short time. I offer a structured, easy to learn course for beginners to intermediate players. I have a love of playing and it is my hope to encourage and motivate others to have that same love for guitar. I can teach a wide range of styles from rock, blues and country. You will also learn chords, scales, picking techniques, and more! You will have a firm foundation and I will get you ready to play in no time flat. I can also guide you in amplifiers and pedals should you like the electric approach.

Our daughter was amazed and in "Ah" with all she learned in just her first lesson with Jack. It was fantastic to see her excitement again for private lessons. So excited she wanted to continue playing and practicing even after the session. Thank you, Jack! She wanted me to let you know she is looking forward to many more days like this!😁👍

Jack is a friendly, encouraging instructor---a great match for my 11-year-old daughter. He's obviously an expert bassoonist, but does a fantastic job of explaining things clearly and simply for the less-advanced student. My daughter can't wait for her next bassoon lesson with Jack!
Claire
Very knowledgeable and friendly, and a great communicator about bassoon technique. Today was my daughter’s first lesson with Jack - She learned so much and has some good assignments to work on before the next lesson. We totally recommend Jack as an instructor!

I have been playing the drums even before I could create coherent sentences. I come from a long line of percussionists and have been playing for over 18 years. As a professional drummer, I have played small lounge gigs and have played at big festivals as well. I have a very extensive understanding of all the styles of music ie Rock, reggae, jazz, R&B, gospel, Latin, etc. You name it; I've played it! I am an experienced teacher and i have even helped some of my students to land paying gigs as well. Perry takes the time to explain flamenco and related styles deeply and thoroughly. He also provides detailed micro-scale feedback on hand/arm placement, orientation, range and which muscle groups to engage. But more than the technical, he has an awesome vibe and makes learning guitar quite an enjoyable experience.

With over 4 years of teaching experience, 6 years of gigging and playing the guitar for 14 years, I have cultivated a unique approach to teaching the guitar. I take the time to listen to my students, hear their struggles and dreams and create a lesson plan that is truly individual. I've worked with beginners who've never touched a guitar to professionals looking to broaden their horizons, all ages too! "Omer loves music, the violin, and it shows. His youtube videos are smokin' and had me humming with joy. He puts a spin on the classical instrument in a way I had not known possible before...by playing jazz with it! It's just want a teenage boy needs to experience. My son has been playing since he was 5 years old and I felt that the traditional, classical instructors with their dated attitude just would not cut it at this juncture in his music career. With Omer teaching, I'm confident my latently, hesitant violinist will "produce" his own music with time. He goes away from some lessons whistling the piece. When Omer and my son jam, it's quite exciting. Omer is knowledgable, modern, in tune with the young student, I believe because he was a young boy once too. He's absolutely what we are looking for in a contemporary instructor. And his jazz concerts are quite inspiring to see too. I hope my raving reviews won't take him away from my student but he's one of the best violinist in New York City presently."
