I have been crocheting as a hobby for over 20 years and have a huge passion for this art. I recently became certified by the Craft Yarn Council to teach crochet and have been teaching individuals and small groups the art of crochet. Have you ever looked at a beautiful crocheted scarf and wondered, "Can I make that?" The answer is YES! YOU CAN!! I will teach you the basic crochet stitches and techniques necessary to make beautiful crochet projects. In a few short lessons you will be on your way to making beautiful handmade items for yourself or to gift to friends.

About Debbie

I have been crocheting for over 20 years. I love everything crochet and have been described as a yarn addict. I learned to crochet right after my first child was born. I received a crocheted baby blanket as a gift and absolutely loved it. As my friends started to have babies, I wondered if I co

I specialize in teaching young students, typically 8 years and up. I am extremely patient and positive with beginners. I also enjoy the challenge of helping more experienced students bring their own creations to life. Lately, I've had several male students making and altering shirts.

I've been sewing as long as I can remember and have been teaching since 2009.

About Tracy

I teach beginning, intermediate and advanced sewing. I have been sewing since before I can remember, for over 40 years. I teach sewing after school for several local private schools and privately at home for 10 years. I also teach for the City at the Cultural Arts Center. I have been fingerprint

I've been crocheting for 15 years and I've never had a student leave a lesson unhappy. Within the first hour or so, you'll be able to do the basics of a chain and a single crochet and as time goes on you' will be able to make almost anything and read patterns. I specialize in crochet toys, but have also made blankets, hats, booties, art installations, etc.
You will require yarn and a hook for your lessons. If you wish to practice at home you can purchase both of these in most craft stores for under $5. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

About Monica

Hi! My name is Monica and I'm excited to meet you! I've been crocheting since 2000 and have loved helping my students learn a new relaxing hobby. Most of my students learn and are comfortable with the basics within the first hour. I'm a patient and kind person and my teaching style is relaxed, posi

Whether you want to understand how to read your own chart or learn to read the charts of others, with 25 + years of experience, I can teach you the language of astrology, providing a set of tools for enriching your life and connecting with Spirit. The more we know ourselves, the freer we become as individuals. Our deepest soul complexes always impede our vision, however, the study of astrology allows insight and understanding of the universe and of ourselves.

About Ainslie

I am an intuitive, Jungian-based astrologer. A life-long yoga practitioner, I presently run a yoga nonprofit. Daily meditation is essential to me. I had my astrology chart done on a whim in the early 90's and immediately became enthralled with the art. I began my daily blog, featuring Street Ar

Ainslie is equally patient and dynamic in her teaching style. Moreover, the breathe of her astrology knowledge is unparalleled, and she effortlessly imparts a thorough knowledge of the subject in terms that are clear and concise. After my own lessons, I would enthusiastically recommend Ainslie to any student interested in gaining a comprehensive understanding of astrology.
Antonia
Ainslie has given me two astrology readings.. both of which have given me a deeper understanding of astrology and myself. She is meticulous with her work and very patient while explaining all the information she gives, you can clearly see this in her weekly blogs. What I loved most about Ainslie readings is that you really feel how passionate she is about Astrology and this makes the experience so much more meaningful and fun! Thank you Ainslie!
