I was dancing and competing in Ballroom dances for many years and i learned that dancing can be very fun and help you to relax. Or it could be very complicated if you decide to reach certain level. But no matter how old you are and what experience you had, it's possible to become a dancer and enjoy it alone or with a partner every minute of your life. And trust me, from the moment you will be able to do first steps of rumba/waltz or any other dances- you won't stop!
Just tell me your goals and we will try to achieve them.

Olga taught us an amazing first wedding dance that she also choreographed for us. She combined Rumba and Foxtrot elements – with leans, dips and even a lift – into one unique dance that impressed (and definitely surprised) our friends and family at the reception. Neither of us had ever done any formal dancing before, but Olga got us to a proficient level in a very short time. Besides being a talented teacher, Olga is also very funny, as well as kind, and will make you feel at ease as you begin to dance, no matter your skill or comfort level. Highly recommended!

Lindsay put together mommy and me ballet lessons for my 2 year old and I. We looked forward to our lessons and she kept my daughter engaged and having fun the entire time. Over the course of a year, not only did we have a lot of fun doing ballet together, she actually learned a few basic steps and is comfortable with the rhythm of warming up, dancing, then cooling down. Having Lindsay live online was much better than a video because she interacted with Skye and could adjust the lesson to keep her involved. I enjoyed dancing with my daughter and getting a little stretch and workout in each time as well.

About Sara Ann
I pace our lessons andI over explain a technic to make certain the client gets the concept. Patiently and with a sense of humor we apply it to a song that is a target song the client really can "sell" and just wants the vocal know-how to do.
With two masters degrees in voice and speech-language pathology, with specializing in eliminating chronic hoarseness and giving you the perfect foreign accent, I am a premier singing teacher who still sings at jazz jams sessions. I previously was a full time professor of voice and music education, a Fulbright instrumental/vocal teacher at high school level, an elementary music supervisor. In recent years, I wrote a book & videos as a licensed speech language pathologist for those with chronic hoarseness, laryngitis, & vocal nodules. Clients love how I mold technique to a song the first lesson.

I signed up for singing lesson on a whim. Sara was great; very patience and knowledgeable. Please take in consideration, I have no music or instrument background so we worked on breathing and body position which she made fun then at the end of each lesson we sang a song or two. After each lesson, I left with new knowledge and one or two thing to work on that week. For a spur of a moment decision, I obtain a new understanding of music, singing, and met a wonderful creative lady. Good Experience all around.

About Stephanie
With 30 years of dance experience and almost 20 years teaching experience, I am excited to help you learn to dance! I have done many different forms of dance from Ballet and Modern dance to Ballroom, Latin, Hustle and West Coast Swing.

After getting my BFA in Dance Pedagogy I began to branch out into the world of partner dancing. After spending some time competing in International Latin, I eventually starting competing in Hustle. I became a champion Hustle dancer, eventually being undefeated in Just Hustle competitions. During my time in Hustle I was also performing in dinner shows with a troupe of dancers and we would travel to events around the country. I was also exposed to West Coast Swing at the time, and this became my next venture.

I have reached the All-Star level in West Coast Swing and have continued to travel to eve
nts to teach, judge, and compete in both West Coast Swing and Hustle. All this time I have continued to study and teach Ballet and Modern Dance as well as Jazz, Ballroom and Latin.

I have been teaching on my own since 2008 and have had students of all levels. My students have been successful in competitions as well as being very strong social dancers. I love to teach and find that while it can be difficult to learn to dance, we can also have fun while doing it!

I was based in the Philadelphia area for almost 15 years and earlier this year have moved to the Charlotte, NC area. I teach at a couple of studios in the Lake Norman and Charlotte area as well as being able to teach online or in the comfort of your home. I look forward to sharing my love of dance with you, no matter what kind of dance you would like to learn!

About Alyssa
I'm a singer and actress from Raleigh, North Carolina. I have extensive experience in the theatre world including assistant teaching, musical directing, assistant directing and interning. I have received numerous vocal awards over the years, from organazations such as NATS and Hal Leonard. In addition, I have been cast in many professional shows, and training programs. Let me know if you'd like to see a copy of my resume.

When studying with me, a student can expect to feel heard and understood. I can work with any vocal issue, including tension, breathing, resonance, etc. While my specialty is healthing belting, I also have a history of classical training, which I use when teaching legit musical theatre styles. I am still in the industry, and so have a finger on the pulse of what directors, casting agents and studios are looking for.

In
addition to musical theatre, I also teach pop, jazz and worship styles. Each voice is unique and beautiful, and I will work with you to become the best (and healthiest) that you can be while still staying true to your natural sound.

Whether you are at a professional level, or just looking to have some fun, I would love to work with you. As your teacher, I can create a customized warm-up track for your voice, which will help you improve daily. This can be used throughout the week to practice. Upon request, I can also send a weekly "homework" packet with a written summary of our lesson that day. On the other hand, if you are looking for a more relaxed approach, I can do that as well. Whether you want to be pushed or start slow, I'll be right there with you.
