Im a graduate student at East Carolina University working on my masters in violin performance. Between undergrad and grad school I maintained a private violin studio of about 25 students for five years and am certified by the Suzuki association to teach their method through book four. In lessons I’m a big advocate for playing with ease. Playing violin can often times feel like your fighting with yourself but with good technique, it can be a joyful fulfilling experience.

This was my first time modeling in a show, and my overall experience was great. Tamika provided great feedback regarding walking, using modeling stance, posing, and how to have fun and interact with the audience. She chose awesome people to walk for her in the show, and we all got along really well. Tamika communicated professionally and respectfully to her models. She also provided all of the clothing for the show which was great because I did not have to come out of pocket to get additional clothing. I would suggest that she get an assistant to help her on the day of the show.

I loved working with Tamika always giving feedback and positive energy and pushing me to go further. The photoshoot was phenomenal i loved the locations and the scenery. Tamika gives top notch coaching and i highly recommend her to anyone whether you’re just getting started or you want to sharpen your skills.

John Krauss has been teaching our 4th grade boy acoustic guitar for the past year. When he started, our son could not clap a rhythm to save his life but now is learning to strum on beat and follow along with lessons successfully. John challenges our 9 year old with different styles and techniques that push him to the next level. He encourages our child in a warm and respectful way. We appreciate John's professionalism and patience with working with a young student. We highly recommend him. "John is a nice guy who helps me learn new chords and licks. I like my lessons!" says the 4th grader.

I thought trying to learn to play the guitar at the age of 35 with no musical background, with kids and a full time job was a daunting task. That was until I met John. I have had 30 minute lessons with John for the past year and a half. There was a steep learning curve for me in the beginning, but John remained very patient and encouraging. His knowledge of music and his ability to explain and teach in a way that I could understand is second to none! I can now play a couple dozen songs and have a great foundation of skills to play many many more! I recommend John to anyone of all ages who wish to learn how to play the guitar.

We are very happy that our son takes guitar lessons with John Krauss. John is a very skilled and versatile guitar teacher. He was adept at discovering my son's specific interests and learning style(s) and has tailored his lessons accordingly. My son enjoys, and looks forward to his lessons.
John brings a lot of experience as a musician to his teaching. For much of his life he has performed on stage as a Rock and Jazz guitarist. In addition to teaching music, John Krauss is an award winning sound engineer. He has recorded musical ensembles and soloists, as well as, audio books by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Senator Fred Thompson, and other well known authors, speakers, and public figures.

"Excellent Approach

Charlie has been a great introduction for my son Jordan into the world of Piano. He has been patient and made the lessons fun and rewarding for Jordan. Jordan is 7yrs old and practicing isn't his favorite thing to do, but somehow Charlie made practicing sound rewarding and worthwhile. Jordan loves piano even more now than when the lessons began. I really appreciate the time and energy Charlie has taken with keeping my son focused. I would highly recommend him as a piano instructor."
