I lost the "joy" of photography with Irina. Technically, she knows her stuff, but her sensitivity and people skills are lacking. Barely an encouraging word. I felt degraded, nervous, and overall shitty by the end of the second lesson. Hoping for a better experience with another teacher.
Desislava G.
Irina is amazing... I would never even think that I can create such beautiful photographies.
My father used to have a small photo lab at the loft and it was like a magic to me. I was always passionate to learn the beauty of photography however I never got the chance to.
I took few classes with Irina, she helped me to create incredible photos for my marketing campaign.
Irina is very professional and patient teacher, she has deep knowledge of photography and she makes it fun to learn.
I would recommend Irina to anyone who wants to learn photography.

Raymond's artwork is amazing, and his teaching style is easy and relaxed. It's obvious that his skills come from a position of passion and creativity rather than simply 'hitting the books'.

A good teacher is hard to find. Congratulations, you've just found one!

I provide classical instruction in portraiture, still life and landscape in your studio or mine. In this traditional approach to drawing and painting, what will be taught and focused upon are perspective, value and composition in order for the student to develop strong visual language skills. The program of study begins with a specific focus on drawing, since drawing is the foundation upon which all great traditional art is built. Throughout this training, emphasis will be placed on accuracy, or more specifically, seeing and rendering correctly such things as line quality, hard and soft edges, proportion, positive and negative space through abstract form and the use of the full range of values.

About Jeff

I'm a graduate of Dean College in Franklin, MA and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston where I majored in art history and studio art with a focus on portrait painting and illustration. I continued further study at the Andeeva Portrait Academy in Sante Fe New Mexico, the Los Angeles Acad

"Jonathan is such an inspiring and motivating photographer.

I was fortunate enough to participate in one of his workshops almost a year back. This review is based on the amazing experience during the workshop and highly beneficial interactions with him beyond that.

The workshop itself was wonderful. Jonathan made sure that every participant understood exactly what he was talking about on a one on one basis. ‘Patience’ - the virtue great photographers are known for was on display live. There were beginners, intermediate and professional level photographers and each of them learned a lot from Jonathan and from each other. The biggest impact was the photography community feeling Jonathan created in us and all of us interacts with each other even after a year and learn together via social media groups.

As part of the conference, there was a street photography session where we interacted with strangers and got their photographs. It was a great experience. Being new to Minneapolis and from a different culture and upbringing, this experience helped me to gain a lot of confidence and finally I was able to come out of my shell.

The best part about Jonathan is, he helps me out so much with my photography even months after the workshop. Also, he provides the opportunity to assist during photo shoots which help me a lot to learn just by observing. It really really helps me improve my photography knowledge and experience.

I would definitely recommend Jonathan to anyone who is looking to get into the photography world. He is such a great teacher who will inspire and be with you throughout your journey!!"

"Roya is Amazing!!!! The first time I went to Roya, she asked me what exactly I wanted to learn, and really tailored my lessons to encompass all my interests and things that were important to me. She is patient, sweet, and THE BEST teacher I have ever had (that's a lot coming from an art major).

I have changed many private teachers in the last few years, and ever since I found Roya, I couldn't imagine having anyone else teach me. She is truly a golden treasure.

I have seen her teach to people of all levels, and she has been incredible with every single one of them. No matter your level, she will teach you what you want to learn."

She is a calming and professional energy that guides you along the first few movements. At the end of the class she summed up what the next steps would be, making sure to set me up for success. I will definitely be signing up again!"

Julie always takes the time to help each individual during class so they understand the concept. She always comes prepared for class and she always asked the students for their input on how to improve the class for the next group of students."
