Tamika T was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is an 20˜04 alum from The School for the Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) with a dual diploma in Creative Writing and Drama. Likewise, she is the youngest of three, and a first generation college graduate in her family from The Ohio State University. ESL/ELL STUDENTS

Teaching non-English speaking students the basic AND advanced fundamentals of English. The seven parts of speech taught are nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and int
erjections.

Tom works at the elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels as an adult education instructor providing English instruction to classes or individual students.

As an ESL teacher, developing a curriculum he takes an overall approach to English study that focuses on a specific aspect of language use, such as life skills, literacy, or vocational and workplace English competencies. Both approaches involve teaching his students basic English skills, such as listening, reading, writing and speaking.

The Pedagogical Foundations Of EnglishCentral

I have been teaching and tutoring since 1996. I have worked with students in areas of writing, internet research, and public speaking. I was also a school teacher for several years, and was very effective in teaching reading through phonics and site words, using real life situations such as creative expression through writing and dialog to make learning more meaningful.

My approach to tutoring is collaborative with the student, regardless of age or academic level. Writing and critical thinking skills are developed by brainstorming, drafting, and identifying opportunities to construct thoughts into meaningful written contact. I keep tutoring fresh and interesting, gradually introducing higher level concepts (i.e. figurative language) as the tutoring process becomes more advanced.

In addition to teaching and tutoring experience, I h
ave also worked as an Administrative Assistant over the years. This gave me the opportunity to learn the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I teach these as well, as they relate to helping students with the writing and organizational process.

I am 64 yrs old and have been under Sifu for 6 months. I have a black belt in Judo. I have studied teakwondo hapkido wrestled in college and can guarantee u will not find better trading and a better group of people who sincerely care about one another. He is a man of integrity as are all His students and he is about you becoming a complete individual. You will learn how to protect yourself and loved ones.
