About Donna

Hey, I'm Donna and I've been teaching trumpet, Brass instruments and saxophones since 1987. I am a certified teacher in NY, and have recently moved to Los Angeles to enjoy the weather and perform Rock, Jazz, Blues with many different bands. I love starting students out on their instruments, and have had great success helping beginners and intermediate players do really well in school and at Solo festivals, All County and All State. I have judged NYSSMA Festivals for over 15 years (and still fly back to do it!), and know how to help students play well under the pressure of an audition. I have had students get accepted into Juilliard and Manhattan Pre-Colleges (Jazz), USDAN, many other music camps and colleges across the country. I have performed at the Orpheum Theatre (LA), ...

Joseph S.

Fullerton, CA

I'm getting my degree in Saxophone Performance, and specialize in classical saxophone.

About Joseph

I grew up in music, and started playing the piano when I was 6 years old, and began composing and using Logic Pro two years after that. I have been playing saxophone for 8 years, and am currently working to gain my bachelors degree in music performance from California State University, Fullerton. During my saxophone instruction I also began learning clarinet as a supplementary instrument, and have been playing it for 3 years. What I love about music the most, is how deep it resonates with the human soul and how the music stems from the passion of the composer and the performer. I feel that my job as a teacher is to instill a sense of passion and love for music in my students, in addition to teaching them the instrument and the rudiments of music. I also am a strong believer that the ...
