Excellent piano teacher for our 6 year old son. Jenny is patient and great overall with kids. I appreciate the incorporation of both theory and practice into the lessons Seven months in, we have seen significant progress and best of all, our son is showing initiative to play on his own.

Great teacher!

My daughter, now age 7, has been taking piano lessons with Jenny for 9 months now. She is progressing quickly. Jenny is patient with her, even when my daughter is not interested and squirming around in her seat. She has given her a broad amount of knowledge, both theory and practical, and my daughter flourishes (when she wants to)! Jenny has tried to make it more fun for my daughter to keep her interest by creating easy versions of songs that my daughter will enjoy playing and singing. This has made a world of difference to my daughter. Even though my daughter dislikes practicing, I can see that she is progressing and enjoys playing when she learns how to properly play a song.

Jenny to the Rescue!

My daughter's wedding was weeks away, and I had never been able to dance a step. For that important occasion, however, I wanted to be able to at least survive a little waltz. My daughter and I selected a short piece, connected with Jenny, and she took it from there. In three lessons, she taught us the basics, provided some great pointers, a little choreography, and even taught us a few impressive moves to throw into the mix. The results exceeded everyone's expectations, and brought not only resounding applause at the reception, but also sentimental tears to many eyes. With Jenny's help, I came further in dancing than ever before in such short time in any subject.

An extremely patient, caring, and capable instructor, Jenny always listens carefully to your questions and ideas. Then, it's fascinating to watch her pause a moment, process the issue, and come back with a solution that's exactly right. Without her, a great moment and memory for my daughter and me might never have happened.

I am a composer and LeAnna has performed some of my vocal music. Her last performances of my work was a soprano duet at two very large grand ballroom. Both times people rose to their feet and a number of people were moved to tears. It was a great success!

LeAnna has a very beautiful, pure tone in her singing.

LeAnna is definitely a good teacher to start with!

I have taken singing class with LeAnna for about two months and it was definitely a positive experience. LeAnna is a good teacher to start with and I've learnt lot from her.

LeAnna is a very easy-going and encouraging instructor. She would try to find something good in me every time and appreaciate it. She would also find something I was doing wrong and point it out directly instead of like it vanish in the appreaciation. So I feel energetic and know what to improve at the same time. Moreover, LeAnna's teaching environment is quite comfortable. It is a clean, tidy, and quiet room. I wouldn't feel nervous there. And, there is plenty space where I could move within and sing quite comfortable.

An an instructor, LeAnna has good exercises which would build my technique little by little. She would offer a group of exercises for a specific training area and they are not difficult and seem easy to do. I would not feel practicing those exercises sucking too much of my energy. But, when I came back to sing, I would feel that without noticing, I could done what I couldn't done before, which was pretty amazing.

LeAnna is also reliable and knowledgeable of the industry. She is not only an instructor but also the singer/dancer/actor who do shows. She would tell me how this industry is like, what and how to prepare for the audition, and what details I should focus on (i.e. Don't change schedule after you have been confirmed with the stage manager) and what aspect I don't have to worry (i.e. I could go to another audition if you are wating for another result; just tell them you are waiting.) This helped me a lot to know what the custom is like in this area.

I've graduated with a BFA degree in Dance so my knowledge of technique and teaching it properly is extensive. It's important to address the basics no matter what the level of dancer because it is the root and base of more complex techniques. If the root isn't perfected the growth won't occur. My goals would change depending on the personal goals of the student. It's my goal that each student is able to grow in a comfortable, judgement free atmosphere and embrace true confidence!
