Great, great teacher. Incredibly talented and capable, he has a strong foundation and is very skilled in noticing things in my voice I am unaware of. He does a great job of balancing the fundamentals and helping you sing your style. I have the utmost confidence in his abilities as a performer and my teacher and not a moment is wasted.

Highly Recommended!

Matt's a great teacher. He's really good at articulating, and helping you visualize, the different things that are going on when you sing. In the past few months I've noticed a big change in how I look at, and approach, singing.

Really looking forward to continued growth with this teacher!! Highly recommend him!

About Chris

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance, and I am currently in classes towards my Masters of Music Education. With over 10 years of private teaching under my belt, I'm prepared to teach students of all kinds and ages. At my studio I have 2 drum sets set up for teacher and student, headphones for play along, a library of books and music, and recording capabilities. I have an electric bass that I like to use to play along with students to give them the feel of playing with another non-drummer musician. Students can learn their favorite music, or get help with music for school or other ensembles they're a part of. I absolutely do NOT favor one style over the other. I simply teach music and approach it all with the same level of passion. Rock, jazz, Funk, ...

About Douglas

Doug Alley, 27, is quickly becoming one of Connecticut’s most up and coming drummers and teachers when it comes to Connecticut drum lessons. A graduate of Western Connecticut State University (WCSU), Alley obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Music Education with an emphasis in classical percussion in 2011. Studying under the tutelage of Dave Smith and Patrick Smith (New Haven Symphony), he would eventually obtain his Connecticut State Teaching Certification the following year in 2012. At WCSU, Alley vigorously studied all of the major percussion instruments. He focused most of his energy on snare drum, marimba, and timpani, but also fell in love with playing all of the percussion accessories. Spending hours each day practicing various orchestral excerpts on different percussion ...

Very good experience.

Barry has great patience....I enjoy my lessons, but I don't always practice as much as I should so I'm not as good at this as I might otherwise be. He makes the learning experience very worthwhile. It makes me want to stick with it. He definitely gets an A+!!

I teach rudimental drumming as well as drum set. I aim to show the connection between various rudiments and grooves on the drumset.

About Andrew

I have been teaching both percussion and electric bass lessons for the past several years. I have had the privilege to play with musical greats, such as Curtis Fuller, Robert Glasper, and Peter Bernstein, on the upright bass and drumset.
