Projection and tone of your voice is your calling card, sometimes before the meaning of the words are understood. Sometimes, your voice precedes your appearance or is heard over the phone, on speaker monitor or over the airwaves.
How do you wish it to sound? As we know, it does not sound the way we hear it with our ears. Record your voice and listen to the recording. As you may be aware, you may not recognize it as you know it. The art of projection and intonation - nasal tone or the covered voice or being brash in its tonality. Too high, too low, monotonous, lethargic or over-modulated....
I will help you to get to your ideal voice. The voice that stops the listener in their tracks and makes them hear what you have to say. More importantly, the impression of you as an individual personality is formed by the impression your voice leaves and at first, makes.
If you want to do voice over work, acting, public speaking, change the way you are perceived, build ...

Joseph’s technical ‘short cuts’ are amazing! He illustrates ways for your hands and your mind to work that are tailor made for you. Learning from him is so fun it seems almost effortless.
The way Joseph teaches allows you to develop at your own pace. The atmosphere is always relaxed yet everything moves along quickly.
At the open classes I attend, his other students are progressing very rapidly too. After each class, we share our impressions. The mood is elated because it feels like we stepped back in time and into history.
Joseph often quotes inspired wisdom of his historic teachers in our lessons. He is a great inspiration on his own with great musical insights.
I’m playing Beethoven and Chopin works I never thought I could approach at this stage of study, with great depth of understanding. I now play with greater passion and skill, get compliments from everyone I play for, and no longer worry about playing in public.
I look forward to each and every lesson with Joseph. His encouragement and support makes learning so rewarding! Anyone who finds this musical treasure is a lucky person and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Hello and welcome! According to their interests, my students learn to score for film, how to create their own personalized sound libraries, music notation, how to work with synthesizers, the business of being a successful composer, and much more. Often the most challenging part of becoming a composer is developing your own work-flow that can bring out ideas in a fast and efficient way. Once these ideas are recorded, whether through traditional notation methods or using a DAW or audio recording device, the job of the composer is to develop these ideas in a unique and captivating way. My motto is that being a great composer is not necessarily having the best ideas, but rather that the development of those ideas is where the art of composition occurs.
As a professional composer, producer, sound designer, and trombonist based out of Atlanta, GA I love to teach. I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Trombone Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music in Cleveland, Ohio and have taught for the past 10 years. Currently, I am wor
