I teach a simple, and broken down system of music theory and piano that is ideal for the vocalist, songwriter, and beginner or intermediate pianist to quickly grasp and apply to their practice! It is the perfect method for the vocalists/ songwriters to be able to accompany themselves using basic piano chords within the first few lessons!

If desired, I teach traditional piano lessons out of the Alfred's books for children and adults, which are wonderful tools to help cover all grounds of sight-reading, technique, scales, repertoire, and music theory. Incorporating tried and true tools like flash cards are also essential in helping students quickly and wholly memorize notes of piano along with correlating position on staff (sheet music.)

Lessons with me are like playing a video game that trains you to be good at music. Seriously. Every exercise we do will generate a score, and you can practice between lessons in order to “beat your high score” during the next one. Ask me anything!

I teach jazz piano from learning jazz chords to improvising in addition to classical piano.

Students will learn the basics to piano while having fun. Depending on the student’s interests we will work on either classical or rhythm piano. We will learn how to read the music, scales and how to play many songs.

I'm a classically trained pianist. I have been teaching this subject for 10 years. I have a traditional and non-traditional style when I teach. I focus on technique. I also record the student's piano performances. But most of all, I make learning music FUN!
