I cannot recommend Anna enough. Her dedication and patience is unparalleled and she cares so deeply for her students. She is methodical, attentive, thoughtful, and is an absolute hidden gem of a teacher. Anna opened a world of music to me and I don’t think I can ever truly express how much that means to me. Not only am I a better musician because of her, but I’m also a better person. Her attention to detail and passion have challenged the way that I approach work and hobbies beyond just music.
Anna is particularly skilled as an educator. Beyond simply giving information for students to practice or memorize, she helps them apply the concepts to real musical pieces, guiding them along the way. Her calm but advanced method of teaching helps students advance quickly through musical concepts.
Over the past eleven years, I have spent literally hundreds of hours with Anna honing my craft. If anyone has seen the extent of her talent as a teacher, I’d like to think it’s me.
Five stars out of five stars. Always.

Hello! I've been teaching violin and piano for 10+ years to students of all ages. I love helping beginners learn about the fun world of music, and helping intermediate/advanced students hone their skills.
I have a minor in music from Brigham Young University. I love to have students try music from different styles, and also teach basic music theory and ear training skills.
I am very patient, and like to pay close attention to see what works best for each individual student. If a student is interested, they can participate in my periodic recitals (currently online) for performance opportunities. I also encourage my students to take advantage of local piano contests, and to see live piano performances.
I offer in person or video lessons, whichever you prefer.
The way I teach, a student can be playing songs very quickly, even while working on basic skills and learning how to read music. I love opening up the world of the keyboard and how to match it to what you see on the ...

My name is Ghislain, I am 28 years and have a Master in Dance Performance from the Conservatory of music and dance of Paris. I am also French and arrived in September 2017 with a full scholarship to study dance at UCLA.
I have studied piano for 10 years at the Conservatoire de Nice (South France), have the experience of teaching private lessons in France and am seeking piano students of every level and age. The past year, I have taught 15 beginners from the age of 5 to 60+ in Paris and had so much fun doing it. I can also teach for adults with a intermediate or advanced level.
With beginners, I tend to put my focus on teaching fundamental notions such as being able to read music notes and understanding rhythm; two elements that are essential to be able to play the piano. And within a few weeks, I can make anyone play piano following a music score !

Joe teaches classical and jazz piano with composition and improvisation which allows students to have fun from the start. Joe has taught over 6 years, with a variety of ages, all the way from kids to senior adults.
My approach combines knowledge of composition and music theory with skills at the keyboard. My unique approach includes learning by ear not just from the page, improvising from the beginning, etc. and other experiential exercises.
Joe has studied popular teaching techniques like Suzuki and Bastien, but also informs students about the way famous pianists of the past, like Chopin, Liszt, and Brahms would approach the instrument.
Joe moved to Nashville in 2015 where he got into the gritty details of less traditionally taught sub-genres of music like rock, funk, R&B, pop. He took a course in piano pedagogy in college which explored how to meet the individual needs of developing musicians. He is a product of Belmont University School of Music, earning a degree in ...

Struggling to understand music theory? Try heading over to the piano -- seeing a visual representation can help a ton! Here, Lowell, IN teacher Blake C. shares how to get started... Many musicians avoid learning music theory altogether because it can feel much like learning a foreign language; as a result, many musicians enlist in the anti-music theory organization.
