I have experience teaching and working with children as well as with adults. I feel comfortable teaching students in all different levels, from the beginner up to the advanced level. The typical approach that I use is a rather communicative one. I like to encourage students to speak and get engaged in real life situations.

I like to know my students, who you are and what your interests are so that I am not just your teacher, but also a friend. I like to think that I am a humorous person and it always makes me feel great when we can share a laugh or two in the class.

Degree in French from the University of St. Catherine. In addition took many classes in language pedagogy. I've taught for 15 years in schools mostly but also tutoring.
All ages from preschool to elementary and High School as well as a few retired adults. Will teach in an immersion style if possible, which I have found to be very effective.

My name is Ghislain, I was born and raised in Nice and I lived and Study for ten years in Paris, France. I arrived in the US in September 2017 to study as a master student, dance composition at the University of Los Angeles California. I am currently choreographer at Le Rapt Invisible in France, dance teacher at the French Conservatory of Los Angeles.

I am currently teaching French at the French department at UCLA.

I have taught French to foreigner people in France since I was 18 years old (my mother has been doing that for over 30 years now) and since I arrived here to adults and students.

Living in France for 5 years now and completing my masters in teaching French as a second and foreign language at l'Université de Lyon 2, I am more than capable of helping you learn a language that I have loved for years. I've been teaching French for 3 years and my students have gone on to develop a deep love of French culture and language! Within the first few lessons, you'll start speaking simple sentences and as time goes on, you'll be able to conjugate like a pro! I also specialize in French phonetics so that you will be able to pronounce everything correctly.

I like to keep my lessons fun and interactive and I pull resources from many different places. Currently the books I'm using primarily in instruction are: Latitudes, Alter Ego, Tex's French Grammar, Liberté, and Supermax (for kids). I also use many online exercises, songs, videos, and articles to supplement for listening and reading exercises.
