We begin with exercises to develop technique and train for agility, musicality and music theory. Classical music is used but not exclusively as we explore the many different genres of music! Ear training is also offered so that the student may be able to play by ear as well as reading music.

I believe learning to play the piano should be fun! I do focus on theory and technique which are important. I strive to cater to my individual students and have them play songs that they enjoy.

From pop music to rock to jazz and classical piano I approach teaching from the standpoint of each student's individual interests. I teach students of all ages and find ways to make lessons entertaining while also being educational, incorporating both technique and theory into each lesson. I'll work directly with you to develop a curriculum that will achieve your musical goals.

Individual lessons I teach are thoroughly developed to advance students' skills in reading, technique & theory, as well as to enrich music appreciation by exploring compositions of variety of styles & genres. Built on the best combination of Russian & European traditions in music education, my teaching method is intended to discover the internal abilities & approach to an instrument, & master performing techniques.
