Today was my first lesson with Aaron. He was professional and works with a planned curriculum that we then tailored to fit my particular needs. His attention to the basics (I'm a beginner) with plans for where to work on improvements made me feel at ease and confident that we will be able to work together long term to reach my goals, and likely exceed them.

Not only do I have a deep understanding of many areas of mathematics, I also have a very effective style of teaching these concepts to students. My brain works by breaking down logical patterns, so when I teach I use these patterns to explain strategies. Every problem, and especially in math, can be broken down into smaller, more manageable problems. As my student, I will train you to think in the same way when approaching difficult math problems. You will surely find math more enjoyable after learning from me!

About Martin

Learn some math with me! A little about myself: I have a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. I graduated with a 3.87 GPA and Summa Cum Laude honors! I know a lot about math, science, engineering, and coding. I have a very logical way of thinking about tough problems and this has been key to being ver

I currently tutor students in grades K-5, in math, and provide homework help. I am familiar with the curriculum materials being used in these grades this year (2014-2015), and with the "common core" approaches being used.
I am patient, friendly, and creative. Math can be tedious and frustrating to students in the elementary grades, but it doesn't have to be! I try to make it more interesting, relevant, simple, and understandable.

I met Robby in college and he was a really good guitar player. I wanted to learn from him as much as I could. He actually took the time to set me up with lessons and gave me very specific stuff to practice. He would check in with me every couple weeks and see if I had any questions and how I was doing. I moved and had to stop lessons for a year or two. A few years later I called him and asked to get together for a couple lessons. He was blown away at how much I improved and was so genuinely happy for me. We still talk every week and if I ever have a guitar question I call him. He's my friend, and he's gonna be a famous guitar player some day.

I started learning from Rob 5 years ago. I didn't think he'd want to spend time teaching me because I didn't know anything about guitar and he was so good. I was so wrong! Since our first lesson, he treated me like a friend, and 5 years later and we are great friends. I started off being able to play a couple notes, and now I can pay solos and songs and learn just about anything I want! Thanks Rob! Take Lessons from this guy! He's the Best!

My brother told me he found this great guitar teacher, and I was skeptical because he has been playing guitar for a long time and has never really sounded good. Two weeks after he mentioned him, all of the sudden he didn't suck any more. He was actually kinda good. So I tried a lesson with him and Wow! Within my first lesson I was already able to play a song! I can't afford lessons since I'm in school right now, but my brother still takes lessons with him. Even though I no longer take lessons with him I still call Rob and ask him questions about guitar all of the time, and he always makes time for me. I don't know where my brother or I would be without him. Great Teacher. Great Friend.
