Whether you are a beginner or have been playing for years my comprehensive lessons will help you to quickly realize your musical goals. I tailor each lesson to fit your individual needs and will get you strumming your favorite songs, reading music, taking soaring solos, or writing your own melodies while simultaneously deepening your understanding of the language of music. At the end of each lesson you’ll receive an MP3 of all the material covered.

I believe in building music fundamentals while fostering a love of playing. My fun, imaginative, and age appropriate classes are just right for any budding musician! Each lesson is customized to get the individual student excited about music, that means playing songs they like and having fun while learning the essential techniques and developing musicality. I have extensive experience working with children 5-16 and adapt my teaching to promote success for each unique student.

Josh has been playing and performing music for over 13 years. He has achieved a bachelor's degree in instrumental music education and has experience as an instructor teaching private students and group classes for over 7 years. He has studied instrumental music education including areas of classical music, jazz, theory, history, and improvisation.

Mandolin lessons will consist of technique (chords, scales), repertoire (songs I suggest and songs of your choice), and sight reading (Tablature and/ or music notes).

A multi-instrumentalist, Cole teaches piano, guitar, ukulele, and bass. In addition to teaching, he also is a singer/songwriter, producer, and recording studio owner. He is currently working on his degree in Music at the University of Southern California . Although Cole didn’t grow up in a musical family, he discovered The Beatles when he was 6 years old. From that moment on, he was hooked. He knew that he wanted to be a guitarist and songwriter!
Cole began taking private guitar lessons in Thousand Oaks at age 7. He studied with the same teacher for 11 years! In that time, he also learned to play the piano, ukulele, bass, drums, percussion, and studied singing. An avid and eager student, Cole also began studying random instruments here and there. He even learned to play the harmonica! Because he knew he wanted to be a professional musician, he started recording his own albums at the age of 9.
