My method is to teach in a way where the student can develop their own style while learning the basics of theory and technique. Depending on the skill level the student is currently comfortable with will determine where we will start. I like to make sure my students understand the first position of the instrument before moving on. We will learn this position by playing songs and developing a unique playing style for the student. From there we will move up the instrument learning about chord progressions and how they are arranged on the instrument.

I am totally passionate about teaching, and I provide that spark that motivates my students into getting the best out of themselves.

I follow a modern customer-oriented approach based on win-win and long term success. The guitar student is an aspiring virtuoso, and I am as patient as possible with the students and following their own desires.

As long as he/she focuses on the image of the perfect player he/she wishes to become, I am committed to the full extend to motivate, encourage, help, assist, suggest improvements, correct mistakes, answer questions and everything that will speed up the student's ramp-up into becoming that perfect player.

20 years experience in private teaching, 15 years as Head of Juilliard Pre-Colkege Guitar Program. I use my own method and love teaching all level and ages of enthusiastic students. I specialize in Classical, Tango , Spanish and Sounth/Latin American Music.
