I personally adore the ukulele, especially as a starter instrument! I've been playing uke for 7 years now, and it's the perfect accompaniment whether you're on stage or in your bedroom. It's easy to travel with, too, if you have a busy life and are always on the go, ukulele is easy to learn and get good at quickly (but you obviously still need to put the practice time in!!) I write a lot of songs on the ukulele & love the unique style and sound it has.
Whether you are planning on performing with it, using it as accompaniment to someone else/yourself, or just want to learn for fun as a hobby, I can teach you all you need to know to meet your ukulele goals! If you have any questions, please message me & let's ...

I have been teaching ukulele since 2014. I teach in a therapeutic style, using my music therapy training to be as observant, adaptive and flexible as I need to be for the student's benefit. I teach at the student's pace and to their interests, while building their musicality, music theory, and performance skills. I often incorporate singing into ukulele lessons as well. 1-2 times a year, we work towards building a repertoire of 1-4 pieces (depending on the student) to play at a local assisted living facility or skilled nursing facility.

When I came to Francesca I had zero musical background. I wanted to learn to play the quitar so I could sing to my first grandchildren ( twin girls) coming in February. By my forth lesson I was playing 'Yellow Submarine ' by the Beatles! Francesca truly has a gift for teaching music. She loves it and loves sharing her knowledge. I leave my lesson with a smile every week."
