Teaching Ukulele for the past 7 yrs and recorded 2 albums with this instrument. "Experienced guitar teacher of over 25 years available for students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of music theory. I have written 6 Levels which have been modified over the years and produce results quickly. All material used to teach with is in pdf form and is easily explained. My goal is for you to be the best you can be.

With my broad performance and compositional background in folk, classical, jazz, rock, bluegrass, soul, blues, and musical theater, I offer students a wide musical perspective and tailor lessons to match student interests. I work with students on music of their choosing to improve technique and develop an understanding of music theory, improvisation, and composition.

I have experience teaching students from beginner to advanced ages 4+. This is a fun instrument especially for kids to start with as they progress through their musical journey.

One of my favorite instruments as it is so accessible for very person and age. Prepare to play in several style and techniques including Hawaiian, Pop, Rock, and Folk. Ukulele has become more and more popular with shows like The Voice and Americas Got Talent. I'm on the cutting edge and am now teaching ukulele too. Ukulele is great for beginners because it has only 4 strings. Highly Recommended because I can get students good at this instrument pretty quickly.

I tailor each lesson to fit your individual needs and will get you strumming your favorite songs, reading music, taking soaring solos, or writing your own melodies while simultaneously deepening your understanding of the language of music. I believe in building music fundamentals while fostering a love of playing. My fun, imaginative, and age appropriate classes are just right for any budding musician! Each lesson is customized to get the individual student excited about music, that means playing songs they like and having fun while learning the essential techniques and developing musicality. I have extensive experience working with children 5-16 and adapt my teaching to promote success for each unique student.
