About J. Paul

Teaching art has always been my passion and my students respond well to me and my teaching style. Many of my students have gone from not even knowing that they had any real artistic ability to going on to pursue college level art or pursueing artistic careers. I have students from years ago that will still contact me for art related questions and some who have become close friends. I believe that my nearly 2 1/2 decades of teaching art in a public school has made me capable of the patience and caring needed to teach any and all learning styles. We can start at whatever skill level you are currently at.

About Bridget

It's a great day to learn something new! Hi my name is Bridget and I would love to be able to assist you in learning the art of sewing. whether you are a beginner or not, learning is fundamental in everything we do. all you need is a sewing machine, sewing supplies, time, and a big dose of patience. and we will hit the sewing room run running.! Lets enjoy what we do and how we do it, by bringing forth your skill set and my love and passion for teaching and sewing, to the next level. I have 30 years of sewing skills and 19 of those years I have taught people from all age groups to learn how to sew. No I had no schooling, in sewing my education was in commercial art and advertising design but I had always wanted to know how to sew. so one day I was gifted a sewing machine and made all the dresses for my wedding and haven't stop sewing since

. so I hope we can enjoy each other's company as we explore the endless gifts in sewing.

Jennifer has been the biggest blessing to our family by coaching my daughter! Despite my daughter being an all honors and AP student there is still so much that she has learned from Jennifer. My daughter has benefited greatly from how Jennifer explains the concepts with patience and knowledge of the material. My daughter has described Jennifer as “ really nice and easy to talk to and ask questions”. Jeniffer has coached my daughter in AP Chemistry, Precalc and currently AP Calculus and SAT. As a mom, it’s the best thing when you know that your child will do well in a class because Jennifer is there to help her! You will be so pleased if you work with Jennifer and you definitely reach you goal of doing very well in the class! Thanks a million Jennifer for helping my daughter achieve her goal!!!!

Jennifer has tutored me 5 times so far and she is amazing! She has a way of explaining even the most complicated problems and makes them easy to understand. She is very patient and understanding. There has not been a geometry question that I have had yet that she isn't able to break down into simple and understandable steps. I have used other tutors as well prior to using Jennifer and I will never go back. I have already scheduled with her for an additional 4 times! I usually send her my questions the night before our lesson and she is completely prepared the next day. She even has a copy of my textbook for her to reference as well!

About Dominique

I am a professional game developer with 5+ years of experience in open source software: Unity3D, Construct 2, and Game Maker. I have graduated from Houston Community College with an Associate's in Applied Science, specially Video Game Art.

Students who are interested in learning how to create complete video game lessons can expect how to improve in programming with C# as well as learning how to create their own games from the ground up. I teach students how to create fun games based off games that have been released by popular developers. My lessons are original content that cant be seen anywhere else.

Currently, I am a game developer for a growing company in Houston. I bring my creativity and originality in what I do to create the best games in business. Even though I have been in the gaming business for about a year. I can still tea

ch a lot on how you can improve on your game developing skills and so much more.

About Shelby

I learned to sew when I was 9 years old and it has proven invaluable in my life. Whether it was bonding with my grandma making things for people at church or making my own costumes for plays, I was always ready to learn something new. I was lucky to get the opportunity to work in the costume shop in my college theater, and learned many new techniques (not to mention getting to work with much higher quality fabric and machines).
I was introduced to crochet by a friend in high school who taught me, and have learned from various online tutorials and books to create the things I wanted since learning. Though I know how to knit, I'm always drawn back to crochet because it's much faster to master and, I find, much easier.
I would love to pass on my knowledge in a fun, carefree environment. If a student isn't having fun, they're definitely not

going to remember the lesson. I make sure that students feel respected when they ask questions, and if there is still confusion, finding a new way to explain the concept.
I look forward to meeting new students and sharing these wonderfully freeing hobbies.

Richard is an amazing chess instructor. When going over games, he quickly determines where your thought process went wrong and how you can adapt it for better performance. He has deep knowledge of the game and is able to communicate it at your level. I strongly recommend him for anyone looking to improve their chess.
