I strive to craft lessons which will give my students a wide base of skills on the violin, although we will be foremost concerned with having excellent technique and a great sound. Beyond that, I can teach you note reading, theory, composition/arranging, and improvisation. If you are interested in learning something other than classical violin, I also have extensive experience in bluegrass, old-time, and jazz fiddle, and can help you develop a unique voice on your instrument. Shoot me a message today to see if we'd be a good fit!
About Kyle

The student achieves what he wants by always getting his best version of what he decides to do.
I design a totally personalized method based on what the student wants to achieve. Since I'm from Colombia, I like to put some of my culture on the way I teach and the way I see music.
My main goal is to put the student at a point where he enjoys learning and also progresses based on his effort and interest. Enjoy life through music, enjoy music through life.....
About Astrid

I am a string specialist. That means I teach and play violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, ukulele and piano. I earned B.A. earned from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley Colorado where I was a double major in classical guitar and double bass. In my senior year I was the recipient of the Annual Concerto Contest where I performed the "Concerto in A Major" on double bass with the University orchestra for the spring concert. I have played in both professional and semi-professional orchestras in Colorado and Arizona. I believe that any student will practice more if he or she likes the music they are playing. Periodically I will ask a student to give me a name of a piece of music that they would like to learn how to play. I notate it for them, often simplifying the rhythm and chords in Finale NotePad and give it to them free of charge. I teach students how to play music on their given instrument. Not just how to play the instrument but working on ...

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

This instructor is very flexible and understanding. He is very knowledgeable and talented and I'm very privileged to be his student. He takes his time to make sure that you are understanding and learning. You can sense his excitement and passion for music and I know that he honestly wants to see me succeed. I even decided to switch instruments after a few lessons and he was very supportive and started all over with me without and objections or irritation!"

Elisa taught my daughter viola for almost two years before she moved West. My daughter start viola when she was six. Elisa was very good with a young novice player - She explained musical concepts at an age appropriate level (but never dumbed things down). We were also pleased that she had high standards in her weekly expectations but always kept things fun and loose so as not to cause stress. Had she not moved we would still be employing her. Elisa is a great teacher."
