What makes my lessons unique is rather than follow a strict curriculum where I just teach the student a bunch of songs they don’t want to learn. I cater to the interests and needs of the student. So if you want to write songs we will practice creative exercises, if you want to learn covers to play in a band or solo act we will learn the songs you want to learn. I will teach at your skill level and go at whatever pace you feel comfortable with so that I can maximize your learning experience!
About Chris
My name is Chris, I have been playing music for 10 years now! It is definitely my passion! I like all genres of music so you will not be judged by your interest. I am always continuing to learn new things myself and have definitely experienced the the journey from beginner to where I am now. So don

Are you a self-taught beginner or intermediate guitar player who is looking to take their skills to the next level? I'm a self-taught guitar player myself, and I've also taken a few lessons here and there and have learned the fundamental music theory needed to make guitar as enjoyable as possible (without forcing tabs or sheet music).
Half the battle is knowing what you need to learn, and the next step is finding solid guidance to help you apply your knowledge to the music you want to play.
I enjoy seeing people improve their skills and unlock their potential through understanding of the fundamentals of what is needed to play on your own, in a band, or just to be able to create your own music. Reach out to learn more and perhaps we can schedule a free lesson to see if this would be a fit!
About Lawrence
Guitar should be fun - whether you're playing with friends or practicing I'm a big believer that the most fun happens when you learn how to use your ear to hear what you want to play. This way you can learn and create songs all on your own without tabs! I've learned how to keep it simple and to ex

Successfully teaching current students with clear, concise lessons.
All of my current students have developed confidence and enthusiasm to learn all materials presented in an easy to comprehend format.
Each student learns at different levels so all lessons are customized to challenge them but also insure they learn and retain all materials presented to them.
Currently have 16 students ranging from beginners to advanced level.
When selecting a teacher, make arrangements to meet in person to review short and long term goals of learning a musical instrument. Pricing should only be used as the last criteria before making a final decision. It's important to insure your instructor is patient and willing to challenge students to setup a practice routine that will fit their current schedule.
If a student needs an instrument, have instructor give recommendations based on the musical styles they are interested in learning.
Students often ask how long it will take to learn to play a Guitar.
About Alejandro

I have taught guitar since 2012 and have been playing since 2000. I am happy to take students at the beginner and intermediate levels. I believe strongly in integrating music theory and ultimately moving students toward musical self-suffiency, rather than focusing exclusively on learning particular pieces. I have extensive training in the theory, practice, and genre conventions of bluegrass.

He is patient, kind, and highly knowledgeable. I clearly see the upward trajectory in my kids' musical capabilities. One of my kids can be difficult to deal with, especially when he is tired, but Ben would mold his approach to the lesson on the spot to keep my kid engaged (e.g., instead of continuing the lesson on the actual piano, he'd switch to a fun music-oriented game).
Lauren
I recommend Ben as a music teacher. He is understanding, encouraging, and inspirational. I am looking forward to continuing lessons with Ben and JC Instrumental.
