About Jennifer

I have been dancing in some form or fashion since the age of 3. I did ballet and tap recitals in preschool, took recreational gymnastics and cheerleading classes in elementary school, and did allstar dance and allstar cheerleading in middle school and high school. When I went away to college, I continued to take classes in many dance styles when I had time. I have never lost my love for dancing. My favorite styles are modern and ballet. I currently own a studio in the DFW metroplex and am excited to expand my teaching to online students!

About Sean

Dear Students and Parents,

Born and raised in Germany, I graduated from college in 1995 with a degree in special ed and nursing. I came to Texas in 1997 and studied Biology at UTD. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in health care, and I also obtained my teaching certification in composite science (teaching chemistry, biology and physics) and in German.
Currently I am teaching high school science classes (biology, physics, anatomy&physiology) , as well as German 1, 2, 3, and 4 (including pre-AP and AP German) at a local school.
I have been teaching , translating and interpreting German for several years.

I graduated with my Master's degree in science education in 2015, and I am writing curriculum since 2013. Currently I am enrolled for my PhD in biology.

I am offering German lessons for every level, beginner

to advanced, including conversation, test preparation, and reading German literature. Since every student has different interests and needs, I customize the lessons and reading materials to fit the individual student. My specialties are medical and technical German, and business German.

I am tutoring all science subjects from K through 12, and some subjects on a college level as well. Sciences can be hard to understand sometimes, and I am generally able to break down the concepts to make them easier to comprehend, often with the help of manipulatives and hands-on material, such as molecular kits, microscopes, lab experiments, or games.

About Oresmary

I will be doing tutoring sessions for anyone interested in learning more about the violin, the voice, the piano, and anything else related to music. I have performing experience ranging from childhood to early adulthood and I may also include performing advice for those who struggle with “stage fright”, or those who simply would like to become better performers. I’m a former orchestral player that performed in a Tennessee competition called Fiestaval. I am also a Soprano singer capable of singing operatic pieces. I speak both English and Spanish, but I can sing in English, Italian, Latin, and Spanish.

Apart from music, I also teach Spanish lessons to those who are interested in learning the Spanish language.

Tutoring will be held in the location deemed appropriate for both the student and I.

I look forward to helping those

who are as passionate for music and Spanish, as I am. I expect to learn as well, since that is a teacher’s reward; to be able to learn as they teach.

About Jordan

Hello, my name is Jordan, I have studied Japanese for several years discovering many methods to improving and learning languages and would like to share the knowledge I've gained on my journey with others to help them fulfill their dreams in a fulfilling way. I strongly believe in personal learning styles and that those styles must be catered to for maximum effectiveness and continued interest in the language. Textbooks were never my thing so I didn't use them and instead found others way to learn and feel fulfilled in that learning. Maybe textbooks are your thing, and that's fine we can use them. It's all tailored to you, no one way is wrong and all roads lead to the same end.

About Marco

Hello everyone! My name is Marco, and I teach Japanese and Vocals! (Each exclusively or at the same time; it's up to you!)

Japanese:
Currently studying for my undergraduate Japanese Studies degree at San Jose State University. Have been studying the language for a total of 5 years, and have worked abroad in Japan within the media and music sphere! I have had experience as a teacher's assistant within a university classroom setting. Aspiring to become a full-time Japanese teacher, and to work within the Japanese music industry.

Vocals:
I am both a vocalist and instrumentalist, specializing in drum set and guitar, but will focus on teaching vocals exclusively. Classically trained in a concert choir setting, and also trained in a jazz setting within a vocal jazz ensemble. Currently a label-signed artist and song-writer, with Professo

r Records, performing English and Japanese pop music in the bay area, and abroad (Japan)! Open to teaching multiple styles, primarily classical, pop, Japanese pop, and R&B.

These two teaching areas of mine are passions that I am pursuing equally, and would love to share what I have learned over the years with you all! I promise to make the lessons relatable, fun, and catering to your own needs.

"Sunho was an amazing teacher and explained everything perfectly, my only issue is that she went through the individual words too fast."

"I've been taking classes with Hannah for nearly two years! She's an amazing teacher who is very patient and is very helpful for understanding different co
ncepts in Korean. Korean is a very difficult language for me but she has customized a course for me to be at my pace and I feel like my Korean has improved exponentially! My Korean has improved to the point where my in laws comment on how my accent and speaking has improved, and my husband's family in Seoul were so impressed by how much I could speak to them in Korean! All of this was thanks to my classes with Hannah.
I can't recommend taking classes with her enough."
