I've been teaching voice lessons since I first started teaching 4 years ago! I've helped singers in all ranges - bass, tenor, alto & soprano - to use their voice as an instrument and refine their singing skills. I've also been singing since I can remember, and I love the personal connection we have with our voice - I also understand how scary & vulnerable it can be to sing & my lesson space is always judgment free. I'm here to help you meet your full potential. In our lessons I will create specific warm-ups & vocal exercises for you, we will learn how to sing any genre of songs, and build on the confidence you will need to be a singer.

Darren has sung with over 10 legendary music acts and in 2010 won International Vocalist of the Year. He has one of the broadest ranges in the music business. He specializes in modern music formats, Pop, Rock, Country and Theater. He believes in teaching by singing songs accompanied by developmental exercises for breathing, power, range and endurance. I've been teaching Singing for 10 years and my students have gone on to find their own, unique voices, develop increasing strength, range and conviction, and go on to accomplish everything from singing in their own bands to auditioning for American Idol and performing in major acts. Within the first few lessons, you'll become more familiar with the new-found attributes of your voice by learning a series of exercises, and voice strengthening routines, and as time goes on you'll be able to sing well beyond your expectations. I specialize in Pop, Rock and R&B and utilize a keyboard, piano and guitar for our lessons as well as have various Videos and MP3's available for your personal practice time. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

30 minute lessons are ONLY for students ages 8 and younger.
Adults are encouraged to choose 60 minute lessons.

I'm an experienced Vocal teacher/coach for over 13 years that's looking to work with eager students of all experience levels from ages 5 & up! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation in what they need to know to be successful.
