As a tutor in Spanish, I am able to share my experiences and use my skills in order to help students achieve their goals. I am very capable in adapting and customizing lessons to fit your learning style. I would be able to help you develop your Spanish language skills in the areas of reading comprehension, writing, grammar, listening and speaking. I am an instructor who is professional, flexible, easy-going, patient, friendly, and very interested in my students' progress.
I am from Peru, which is where I started my career in teaching. For nearly five years I taught Spanish as a Second Language to American young adults who were preparing to serve Spanish-speaking missions in South America.
Additionally, I was a Spanish editor. Through producing and editing countless Spanish magazines, pamphlets, articles, interviews, and ads, I developed great attention to detail and excelled in the correct and elegant use of the Spanish language. I also worked as an Advertising Manager and Marketing Manager for several educational institutions.
Lately, I have worked as a Spanish Instructor for Language Bird in Los Angeles. During that time, I taught students and career professionals from the basic, intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish. Currently, I'm working as a Spanish Instructor at Ross Stores Distribution
Center, and as a Latin American Culture and Spanish Instructor for the U.S. Air Force.
I am an instructor who is professional, flexible, easy-going, patient, friendly, and very interested in my students' progress.
Frank is excellent. He has extensive experience in teaching Spanish. His pronunciation is clear, making him easy to understand. I enjoyed my first lesson and look forward to continuing learning with Frank.

Hello there! I hope that in reading this you will find some valuable information in choosing the right teacher for you!
I am an opera singer by trade and I also have experience performing in contemporary bands, musical theater, solo piano concerts, as well as classical voice concerts.
I hold a Bachelor degree in piano and voice, a Master's degree in Vocal Performance, and an Artist Diploma in Opera.
I enjoy teaching as much as I enjoy performing because it's a way to share what I have learned and plant a seed in students who may want to take music seriously or just as a hobby.
I teach in a variety of styles pop, musical theater, and classical and I'm always open to what you as a student want to get from your lessons and tutoring. I've had a private studio for the past 5 years and have experience teaching in a grade sch
ool and collegiate levels of music. My students have ranged from 5 years old to Adult Senior age. All lessons and goals are targeted to your specific needs and desires and I'm always happy to be that guide who will help you perform in a healthy and enjoyable way.
Zaray has been my teacher for over 4 years and has been amazing! She taught me mostly everything about music and helped me get accepted into one of the best schools in Florida. I took singing lessons and piano lessons that helped me learn a lot, because of her I was able to preform in new York and attend the All-state elementary choir. Overall an excellent teacher, I really recommend!

Zaray has done such great work. She really takes the time to diagnose the problem with her stellar ear and to prescribe the best exercises to enhance the vocal mechanism. Not only does she have an abundant technical vocabulary, she really personalizes her style of teaching for each student. Apart from being technically a wizard, she is one of the most joyful people to be around. Her calm demeanor and easy going self really makes a student of every level comfortable. I highly recommend!!
Want to learn a new language? How about learning Spanish ? It doesn't matter if you know anything about it. I can teach you at any level and you will become an excellent speaker and writer. I'm from Venezuela and Spanish is my mother language. I have 5 years of experience teaching.
Hello!! I'm Maria Fernanda
I am a business administrator and I currently live in Madrid Spain where I am doing a Master in Business Analytics and Strategic Data.
In my spare time I love teaching English(basic and intermediate level) and Spanish(all levels). My teaching method is always depending on the student interest. Generally I try to do it the most fun, interesting and entertaining possible. I have a special rule: no other language allow in class(just Spanish or English depending on what language I'm teaching). I believe that the most efficient way to start learning a new language is to think, listen and speak just in that language. Of course I could be flexible if the student doesn't speak that new language at all. In my hometown (Venezuela) I had experience teaching basic English in an elementary school and teaching priv
et lessons for kids and teenagers as well.
Let me know if you are interested in taking classes with me. Don't lose the opportunity to learn Spanish with a native speaker!
¡¡Hola!!
Test your knowledge and have lessons geared to your needs.

Music: I can offer you a well rounded plan of study and you can choose what and how you would like to learn. For example, young students generally want to learn to read the notes. For these I give classes in theory, music history, ear training, and technique along with the note reading. Older students generally want to learn to play songs they know by learning notes in the right hand and putting chords in the left hand. For these students, I emphasize the theory so they will understand what notes go together to make a nice sound.
My background has been in church music. I started playing at church for services when I was 16 years old.
I am a native Spanish speaker but I also graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Romance language at UNC Chapel Hill. I believe being a native speaker and also majoring in this language helped me understand how to help someone else learn standard and common spanish used by the majority of people. I not only took courses in spanish but also italian and japanese, since I was also a student learning a different language I believe I understand how frustrating it can be to want to speak and understand the language rapidly but not be able to. The best way to learn a different language is to have someone who is fluent in it speak to you everyday. I can help you learn standard spanish used in professional setting and I can also help you understand the spanish that is used by people living in Mexico and many living in USA. There are many phrases that are used in this country that when translated into english do not make sense but I can help you understand all of these. I am currently living in ...
Hello! My name is Alondra Vargas and I am a Spanish tutor. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018 so it hasn't been long since I was a student myself! I love sharing my knowledge in the Spanish language but I also studied Italian and Japanese. A fun fact about me is that I am currently living in Mexico in order to expand my knowledge in the language and the culture. Over the years I have volunteered at elementary schools, hospitals, and nursing homes where I have applied my knowledge of the language to help others communicate with the world. I loved my years interpreting therefore I am currently taking a course myself to expand my knowledge as a medical interpreter. I understand what it's like to be a student and feel frustrated at times but I am here to help and make understanding this language much easi
Take Lessons with a Native speaker, in a communicative environment. My focus for the lesson is that you learn in context with real life situations. Grammar structures are very important to learn a language but to memorize them and learn them isolated and out of context would be boring and tedious. So, in my classes I offer you to feel you are using the language in real situation and with meaningful understanding, in this way you will acquire language skills forever and will never say that you study Spanish for years but cannot speak it. I love using different resources such as songs, videos, skits, technology tools, among many others to strength your language skills.

You will acquire the language and be able to communicate just like you did with your first language. I use different strategies and personalized your lessons according to your needs and goals. I look forward to having an awesome experience with great students.
I believe the two main reasons why most people don’t speak other languages aside from their native one is simply fear and sometimes, why not, lack of interest. The interesting thing is that no one is born speaking one specific language, it’s the place we are born in and people around us that decide what our language is going to be and sound like. Therefore, if we had the ability as kids to learn words and develop ideas around these, without having a clue of what we were actually doing or if it was wrong or right, then we can do the same thing without taking care of our age and current situation. Once we conquer this fear, not only learning a new language gets easier but life as well does, and this is when the lack of interest plays a role in the game. Most of us think learning a different language is a waste of time considering all the things we already have to do in our daily routine. But here’s the truth: in this day and age, we must know at least one extra language to find better
I’m a social communicator, graduated in Venezuela with a bachelor in Social Communication, specially Corporate Communications. Before deciding to follow my passion, I studied eight semesters of Tourism Administration and left it because I couldn’t keep ignoring that inner call of becoming someday a successful writer. In high school I took humanities instead of science for the same reason: I was in love with books, words, languages and the fact they allow us to build bridges, create entire new worlds and express ourselves, emotions and beings in a million different ways. I mean, when it comes to words we are talking about endless possibilities, so I’ve been following this path ever since.
Less than a year after graduating, I moved to Guatemala thanks to a job opportunity I got. It had nothing to do with my career or anything but the fa
ct I had to talk all day with so many people that didn’t speak the same Spanish, had a different culture and mindset I was used to, taught me really quick that words were different and therefore ideas and meanings too, and that if I wanted to succeed I needed to integrate my previous knowledge with the one I was learning. That’s when I really understood the dynamics and importance of words and languages: aside from body language, they are all we have to build important relationships with people, to connect, to not be islands.
I've worked as a translator, UX/UI designer, social media & marketing coordinator, events coordinator, restaurant manager, a bit of radio and as a part of other projects where I've been in charge of documenting (photography, videos, captions). So, as you can see, I've always been surrounded by people and taking care of their different needs when it comes to ideas and words, which took me to realize I wanted to share and transmit all the knowledge I have so I could not only bring people together but expands their worlds and minds, and help them get rid of their fears and limitations.

I have taught special needs students with a hands-on approach to understanding every student's learning style. I have tutored in both Spanish and English and I love to empower students to achieve their learning goals. I believe in developing conversation skills by helping the student to develop a topic of dialog in a safe environment where it is OK to make mistakes! I love to laugh and make learning fun!
