About Manhei
Lesson will be divided into two parts:

First part will be a a brief introduction to some basic elements in the art of drawing and painting.
Second part will be in practice, where the fun begins! Students try to apply what they learn to their art!

Nothing is more satisfying than hearing my students go home with some knowledge they don't know know before. Maybe a new idea, a new way of thinking, new perspective at perceiving.
I should try my very best effort to live up to the standards.

About Moataz
I am a Freelance Graphic Designer living in Stamford, Connecticut. I love learning and teaching, like a lot. I teach languages, Lettering, branding, and the basics of Graphic design as well as the adobe programs that bring it to life.

My promise to you is that I will teach you everything I know in the time I'm given and provide you with all sorts of outside resources to get you on your way to fluency and proficiency.

I'll make sure to do my absolute best to get you speaking a new language from day one, learning a Design program immediately, or teaching you how to letter with the rules they don't teach you in school. And best of all, I'll even show you how to actually make money with all of these.

I have a very unique journey into learning where I experienced many places and got a fresh and different understanding to the many su
bjects that I teach. For example my knowledge of multiple languages and travel to different countries gave me an added knowledge of linguistics that I experienced first hand and confirmed in books, so now I know how languages work, and can relate a concept from one language to another even if the languages seem completely different.

My Design work has been very general so I've done a lot of different things before I specialized in hand lettering, so I've done it all from advertisements on billboards to website design and development, to copywriting, to branding from start to finish for companies big and small.

My love for lettering and Calligraphy emerged when I started getting more Logos for client work and my exploration of type wasn't the best answer most of the time so I would letter everything myself, and the rest is history.

I am really passionate about learning and even more passionate about sharing what I've learned. I am efficient, I know what works for different people since I taught in classrooms and tutored way before I knew about Takelessons, and I'm most proud of being praised as a very genuine person. A very common compliment I get is that I sincerely want my students to do well. And it makes me really happy every time someone says it, and I hope that one day you see that and tell me the same thing.

Feel free to find out more about me and ask me anything you want, and I really look forward to one day teach you something that will get you to achieve your goals! :)

Just so there are no surprises, I raise my prices very slightly every 3 months, next time it will go up is on March 3rd 2017. The reason for this is because I get better and more efficient at teaching as time goes by, so that hour that you get now is much more packed with value than the same hour last year or last month.

I enjoyed every lesson I had from Justin and I certainly learned a lot in two months. Justin is a great painter and his class is casual and relaxing. He gives students aesthetic space to create arts that cater to every unique style.

About Gabrielle
I am a professional singer formerly signed to Sony Records and Cherrylane Publishing. I have songwriting credits in movies, television, albums and video games including Like Mike, Fat Albert, and Yu-Gi-Oh. I currently run my own personal studio and occasionally host creative workshops in schools and other venues.

After starring in a reality show, releasing an album, touring with some of music's biggest names, walking the red carpet, and performing at the Billboard awards, my band split and I returned home to really find my sound. It has been such a journey. Now that I've found it, I want to help others discover theirs too. It's so important to me. As a striving musician, successes and failures have only deepened my passion and taught me the importance of knowing myself as an artist. I love helping others believe in themselves and re
lease what's truly inside them. I am very diverse and able to do all kinds of genres. I am also a producer and am passionate about music arrangement, song writing and recording.

Class Specifications

* Train to hear the note, tune tone, sing on key

* Learn to create and control runs and ad libs

* Find the perfect harmonies automatically

* Strengthen diaphragm and learn to breathe correctly

* Learn to sing with emotion and let the true individual shine through

* Push the limits with the right exercises and free the voice to truly soar

* Be empowered and encouraged as a singer and a raw artist, whether this is a hobby or an epic dream

I recommend children's session be no shorter than an hour. 30 minutes goes by very quickly and children's classes are more about building confidence as well as skill which takes a bit longer.

Gabrielle has a deep passion for music and for teaching people how to excel in their musical gift. She also has an excellent ability to compose music and helped me with composing a melody for a song I had written. Gabrielle used to be apart of a musical group where many of her vocal skills and talents were showcased. Because of her experience in the musical industry, my personal experience that I had with her, and her passion, I have no doubt that Gabrielle is the perfect instructor for anyone needing vocal training.

I have been playing drums since I was 9 and have been teaching for 4 years. I currently play in a professional band in the bay area. I specialize in many genres and odd signatures. I make sure that every one of my students understand and play with proper technique and dynamics to perform like the professionals. I teach how to read music, play various types of rhythms, play to a metronome, and play along to any of your favorite songs. I will often times play another instrument with my students to give them an understanding of what it is like to play in a band setting. I also offer group lessons where multiple students learn to play different instruments together to make music.
