I teach all levels from beginner to advanced. Styles ranging from fingerpicking, Travis picking (folk Americana classical) chicken pickin (country), flat picking (bluegrass) economy picking(fusion jazz) , alternative , sweep picking and most styles of guitar.
I’ve been playing music for 20 years, and have been performing for 7. I’ve studied music theory at sierra college for 2 years. -Guthrie Govan
-Mateus Asato
About Gabriel
Most beginners I’ve encountered have no idea what they want to play or even why. my suggestion is before coming to your teacher pinpoint the what and the why. Why did you want to learn guitar? Was it a song, or a really cool sounding riff? Did you see someone play live and feel like “I could do th

I am a professional Guitarist, Bassist, Pianist and Music Instructor based out of Haddonfield, NJ. I have taught hundreds of students between ages 4 and 70 from beginner to advanced in all musical styles. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2007, and was trained by top-tier musicians in Jazz, Classical, Blues, Rock, RnB, Pop and even Broadway.
My teaching style is to first identify what music motivates students, and then to carve out a path for them in fundamental practice towards achieving their goals, while preparing them for performance-level playing. Along that path, other musical styles, famous musicians and examples of mastery are introduced to broaden student’s understanding of what is achievable and to motivate them towards a higher level on their instrument.

Hello! I have been teaching guitar for over 7 years now. Form beginners to advanced students I make it my duty to find the students interests and help them develop their own sound. As a Berklee College of Music graduate I have studied composition and music production, skills that I am happy to teach any student. In addition to teaching guitar my students have the option to learn music theory, as well as recording and mixing original compositions that we develop together in class and as homework assignments (DAWs - Logic & Protools). My specialities include Blues, Classic Rock, Jazz & electronic beat production.
About Farrokh
I have been playing guitar, piano, bass, ukulele and drums for 11 years now (teaching for 8 years). As a teenager I started playing all kinds of music and quickly became obsessed. At the age of 21 (2013) I went to Berklee College of Music where I studied guitar, composition and music production fo

I'm not young, and I'm hard to teach music theory to, but he was patient, and is helping me figure a way into learning important stuff that I find kinda dry and not fun to practice. (I'm a good player, but music theory is very challenging to me.)

Hey there! I'm a multi-instrumentalist with a strong foundation in Guitar, Bass, and Drums.
My lessons are curated behind a few things:
-the understanding of music theory (scales, chord progressions, rhythmic structure, song composition etc.)
-student's requests to learn specific songs and creating original song
-having FUN!
Because in my experience, you're not learning if you're not enjoying what you're doing.
After 6 years, of playing drums, I began my time as a guitar player. I grew as a guitar player tremendously fast because of my understanding and practice of rhythm. I began as an acoustic/folk guitarist, progressed into a blues/funk guitarist, and now play mainly jazz and neo-soul. I also am accustomed to teach many other genres. I now write, produce, and perform my own music and stream online.
When you take lessons with me you can expect that the lessons will increase your music theory knowledge, finger/hand dexterity, rhythm, ear training, performance ...

Learning how to play blues guitar? Pay extra attention to these five things from guitar teacher Mike B.... 1. In Tune Bends The blues guitar style is full of bending strings. Bends, as well as hammer-ons, pull-offs and slides, give guitarists the ability to imitate the way singers use various inflections while singing melodies. However, unlike hammers-ons and slides, bends are not guaranteed to be in tune. Since there is nothing worse than an out-of-tune bend in the climax of a great solo …
