Was good !!

Excellent and engaging. Had fun.

Ashwini assumed that I was married upon meeting her, and asked me when I was getting married as soon as she learned I wasn't married. She also asked where I was getting married, even though at the time I wasn't engaged. Even when I made it apparent I wasn't engaged, she continued to refer to my boyfriend as my fiance.

She would send me political things going on in India, even though I have no interest, and it has nothing to do with the lessons I was taking from her. She asked me if my boyfriend was voting, and many personal things that shouldn't be asked of a student learning Hindi.

She often moved my scheduled time around without asking, which meant that I needed to move my schedule around in order to attend her sessions.

As a teacher she was pretty good, but some things disappointed me there too. For instance, I made a sentence in which a jeweler was a woman, and she stated that can't be correct, because there are no woman jewelers. I'm a woman engineer, and it's really sad to see such a sexist thing. Even when I attempted to ask about how you would say something about a woman jeweler, she said it was impossible. Later she said nurses could only be woman.

There are so many excellent qualities that Carla possesses that it's hard to begin. She has numerous and varied personal and professional connections with the deaf community, She is highly trained, but also has a natural propensity for teaching. She's personable yet , again, highly professional. Her knowledge and ability to mentor, in my option, are unsurpassed. I would gladly recommend Carla to anyone desiring to begin learning ASL to those who just need to brush up on their skills, and anyone in between.
She's just THAT good!!!!!! And I've been in this part of the world for many years.

I really enjoy our lessons! Carla helps me to improve my every day English and be confident. I start to think what I talk and how I talk. She gives a good examples that easy to remember.

I learned a lot from Marcel and liked his vision of how to redo the garden. The original garden was cluttered with overlapping plants and we discussed how to improve it. He pulled out his iPad and made several garden sketches that were helpful. The original garden was cluttered with overlapping plants and we decided to remove several of them and re-"orchestrate" the remaining ones. (We only bought new plants if they were needed to realize the new garden vision.) He is also a very hard worker, helping me (physically) transplant and add plants as required. For example, we transplanted a 100+ (?) pound Sago palm across the front yard. I would never have done that on my own (too heavy for me) but together we did it! Highly recommended. Bill

Excellent teacher. We took a 20'x2' section of "dirt" in the back, redid the soil, transplanted a rose in that section, added two other new roses and a bunch of ground cover. Looks great! Recommended.

I did not actually take any lessons with him, but his schedule did not reflect what showed as available in Takelessons. He had a very bad attitude and would not actually schedule the lesson after several exchanges.

Mina is a very good teacher , he can teach the math in a very simple way, he helped me in understanding Algebra and practice it , thank you :)

Jason is professional, proficient, and very knowledgeable in all levels of Microsoft Excel. It was a pleasure to work with him. I highly recommend him.

1st lesson was great. Jason is a high caliber instructor!
