Hello! Thank you for your interest in taking guitar/piano/music lessons.
I am a professional teacher/studio musician/performer/producer with over 20 years of private teaching experience and a graduate of the University of Miami Studio Music and Jazz program in 2002 specializing in the guitar.
I am available to teach guitar(acoustic, electric, classical) for all levels, ages, and styles(pop to folk, rock to soul, world to classical) in English, Spanish and Japanese.
Other subjects taught include bass guitar, piano/keyboard, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, harmonium, classical percussion, music theory, composition(all styles from pop to classical), ear training, and studio production/engineering/mixing.
Born in Cali, Colombia on April 1979, I began my musical endeavors studying the piano at the age of 6. Early on I had the opportunit
y to play percussion in the school symphony while at the same time developed an intense interest in the instrument that would become my true love, the guitar.
During 1996-98 I studied jazz guitar at the New World School of the Arts music program under the direction of J.B. Dyas and Dr. Roby George. Upon graduation, I was immediately accepted to the University of Miami jazz guitar program under the direction of Randall Dollahan. It was during this time that I also refined my skills as a classical guitarist and as a composer/arranger. In addition, I began passing my knowledge onto friends and eventually began working as a teacher.
My ability to play almost any genre of music is the fruit of past experience playing with an impressive variety of music groups, including jazz combos, symphony orchestras, Andean world music ensembles, and several rock and pop groups as well. As a studio guitarist I have recorded for various artists including Jaci Velasquez, Carlos Ponce, Alexandre Pires, and Noelia.

Every one of you is unique and there are many possible paths to reach your goals in music.
With my background and music industry experience, I am able to customize my lessons for you so that you can reach your desired goals. We will take some time to find out where your passion lies in music and I will use my experience and knowledge to create a customized lesson-plan that will allow us to focus on reaching your desired goals and at the same time maintain a well rounded music education.
I find this to be key in making the lessons and your practice sessions very enjoyable, fun and laid back - knowing that everything we practice, play and talk about is in line with your goals as a student.
I will also be playing along with you and demonstrating everything that we're working on - music is meant to be shared and played with others and it is important to have that experience of interaction from early on in your lessons.
So whether it's learning to accompany yourself or others, write songs, read music, understand harmony, solo, or just jam out to your favorite songs, you will be well on your way to reaching your goals within 6 months of my lessons.
Look forward to making music with you!

I have been working as a professional musician since 1987. In that time, I've played many roles alongside a wide range of established and emerging talent, from around the world, including band leader, accompanist, music producer, composer, arranger, co-writer, teacher, coach and mentor. Along the way, I have continued to pursue my passion for education, teaching private music lessons to amateurs, professionals and hobbyists from all walks of life.
My main acoustic guitar is a Custom Martin SP000C16RECST (1 of 75) with ivoriod binding, pearl around top, neck shape: low oval, pearl dots and Fischman pre-fix pick-up with on-board blender.
Beginner, intermediate and advanced are all welcome. I give the same attention to teaching amateurs as I do professionals.

Dave has been a music teacher for 17+ years. He currently teaches for the web's largest platform for online guitar, hosting some of the world's most famous players, and educator's from institutions like Berkeley, Musician's Institute, and Full Sail.
I own a local music/art/production institution which hosts lessons for many instruments and artistic pursuits. Personally, I've been teaching for over 17 years, and I teach beginner to advanced students in instruments like guitar, bass, piano/keys, voice, and drums, and depending on your needs, our studio offers a variety of professional teachers that teach all woodwind, brass, and stringed instruments.
I also am an online teacher for a the world's biggest web platform for guitar instruction, and teach lessons alongside those in Berklee alumni, Musician's Institute, as well with many very famous artists that are now in the music business.
Though I've had the fortune to work with some of the best in studios, as a songwriter, and player, and in education, both professional and informal, I love to teach entry level players up through
the intermediate levels the most. I enjoy watching people discover things for the first time, and in my teaching I really do my best to craft my lessons to the needs of the students. My primary aim in teaching is that I would cultivate in my students a love for music and learning. With these two things in place, a student can go on to be and learn anything.
Join me, we'll have a great time, and we'll get you to your goals while we're enjoying the journey of music together!!
My son was very happy with the lesson and the tips that Dave provided. Looking forward to future lessons.

Dave is the absolute “best” teacher I have ever had! I’m an older (69) student and his techniques amaze me. I’m learning things I have never been exposed to and so wish I had had a teacher like Dave when I was 10...maybe I would be able to play! Thanks Dave!
I love to teach all styles of guitar ranging from the foundations to bluegrass, pop, classical, jazz, theory, and more!
Hi! My name is Kaia, I'm passionate about teaching students in the way that makes the most sense to them, & inspiring others to reach their potential. I am a singer-songwriter from Denver with a diverse background and years of teaching experience. I studied classical voice at CU Boulder 2008-2010, and songwriting & commercial music business at CU Denver 2010-2013. Teaching full-time since 2013, I LOVE helping students find their best natural sound and how to use their instrument. My strength is teaching fundamental basics in a way anyone can understand, using a variety of ways of thinking and learning. I encourage students to play & sing when they are interested and try composing their own songs. I've played classical piano 23 years, guitar 16 years, and taken voice lessons for 15 years (plus a degree). I also LOVE arranging & composing
and translating this to Ableton and electronic music! Let me know how I can help you!
Just bought a guitar and don't quite know how to use it? Had a guitar that's been lying around unused for years? Need someone to help you figure out what those crazy guitar tabs mean? Then I'm your girl!
I teach from the very beginning to early intermediate guitar. I'll help you learn to read notes, tabs, solos, and even help you create covers or songs of your own! I even have some handy tips for performances too!
I teach classical, jazz, and pop/rock guitar.
Okay! Bio time!
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....
I'm a pretty normal girl that loves music and art. Fun fact: I spent years and years studying music since I was 7 but I actually went to college for art and graphic design. I fell into teaching music by a friend who offered a position in her music studio and I fell in love with teaching from there.
I go out and perform shows (singing, playing guitar) and I still write songs too. I find that even though I'll never be Taylor Swift that music is so vital to expressing myself. I love helping others find their voice in music so they can have that same way of expressing themselves too!
Also, if you're interested I can show you all the paintings of dogs I've done. :D

"Speaking from the standpoint of a colleague of Nadav’s for many years and professional musician/educator myself, Nadav is the real deal. He is my top reco
