Not only will I give them the tools they need to succeed musically, but most importantly, the tools they need to succeed in life. I want my students to be the best musicians they can be and to be the best versions of themselves that they can be. Abilities vary among each individual and I aim to take the time and the patience to understand and teach every student that comes my way. I am a patient, kind, and caring teacher who strives to show my students just how marvelous they can be.

Experienced professional with degrees in music and music education, and a background teaching strings and string orchestra, strives to develop a foundation of musical skills along with a love of the instrument and music in students of all ages.

I've taught people who were just beginning violin (both children and adults) to students who were working on major concertos. What is most important to me as a teacher is that the student connect with the music and their instrument by being creative and personalizing my approach for the student. I also strongly strive to make performers out of violinists and to help them engage both audiences and themselves.
