The Uke is growing in popularity because of it's ease of playing and how much fun it is to play. A great starter instrument to branch onto guitar later on or a unique instrument to master. I can help you master the Uke and have a lot of fun doing it.

Teaching Ukulele for the past 7 yrs and recorded 2 albums with this instrument. "Experienced guitar teacher of over 25 years available for students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of music theory. I have written 6 Levels which have been modified over the years and produce results quickly. All material used to teach with is in pdf form and is easily explained. My goal is for you to be the best you can be.

Whether you are a beginner or have been playing for years my comprehensive lessons will help you to quickly realize your musical goals. I tailor each lesson to fit your individual needs and will get you strumming your favorite songs, reading music, taking soaring solos, or writing your own melodies while simultaneously deepening your understanding of the language of music. At the end of each lesson you’ll receive an MP3 of all the material covered.

I believe in building music fundamentals while fostering a love of playing. My fun, imaginative, and age appropriate classes are just right for any budding musician! Each lesson is customized to get the individual student excited about music, that means playing songs they like and having fun while learning the essential techniques and developing musicality. I have extensive experience working with children 5-16 and adapt my teaching to promote success for each unique student.

In teaching lessons, it is my great pleasure to share with students of all ages and skill levels the knowledge that I've gained over 27 years of playing. I firmly believe that anyone can learn anything at any time, given the proper tools!

In our first lesson, we will determine your musical goals and create a realistic path to achieving them. It's my job to help you along this path while keeping things fun.

To maintain focus and week-to-week continuity, I always provide lesson notes to take home. I can also provide recordings of lessons and transcriptions of pieces, if desired.
