I have been singing in public since 1976 (professionally since 1993).

I use a very practical and simple approach. I like to teach the natural voice.

Drawing from his experience as an opera singer in venues throughout out the US, including the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and Carnegie Hall, I address proper posture, vowel placement, pronunciation and interpretation.

I believe that singing is about so much. It is a way to express yourself, it is a way to gain confidence, and it is a wonderful discipline. I want to help you find YOUR voice. It would be so much fun to get to work with you on anything you might need: sightreading, Choral solos and music, your favorite pop of country song! Anything that interest you!

A recent Berklee College of Music Graduate, with over 4 years international experience, I teach a wide range of genres ranging from Classical to Jazz and Pop. I am a performing vocalist with two bands and play frequently in the SoCal region. Using this experience I will help you build a solid vocal technique with my vocal exercise regime. Hi, there!

My name is Sarah-Kate, and I have been teaching vocal lessons for many years. My goal is to make learning fun and productive. I know that singing in front of someone can cause anxiety, so I aim to make my lessons as laid-back and stress-free as possible (while still learning!). I tell my students that their lessons are a "judgement-free zone."

I teach proper singing technique (including breathing, posture, tonality, etc.) and how to read music if the student doesn't already know. The styles I teach run the gamut from pop to musical theater to classical. Especially for younger/beginning students, I like to let them choose what they'd like to sing (while offering guidance if necessary).

I have taught people from age five up through adults. Whether you want to be the next American Idol or just sound better in the shower, I'm your teacher!
