I have been singing in public since 1976 (professionally since 1993).

I use a very practical and simple approach. I like to teach the natural voice.

I have been involved in musical theater since elementary school and it's one of my favorite genres. At Berklee, I am minoring in both Musical Theater Performance and Musical Theater Writing. I recently performed as Mary Gallagher in First Lady Suite and as Christine in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I have experience in several styles of dance as well as acting, and I can help with audition prep, building repertoire, and interpreting a song as well as the technical aspects of singing.

Hi there! I come armed with 6 years of teaching experience, 10 years of performance experience, two degrees in Vocal Performance, and a whole lot of enthusiasm and humor! I approach every lesson with positivity, engagement, and encouragement. My ultimate goal is to help students fall in love with their own sound. If you are a beginner looking to experiment with your sound, I would be honored to help you learn the art of singing! If you are an experienced vocalist looking for a tune-up, audition prep, or rep coachings, I am here for it! Whatever your experience level, we'll have lots of fun singing together!

Proper Technique along with breathing & placement

I am a great communicator of what you need to start singing better immediately. Sensing what’s happening inside your Voice and body as you sing is an inmate specialty of mine. As I share that ability with you during our lessons, you will understand immediately how to correct any singing problems you may have. Your results, as others, will be instantaneous dramatic improvements for your singing voice.

The virtue of patience has been gifted to me and it’s easy for me to nurture your voice, no matter how young or old, to achieve fine vocal skills, great stage presence and a solid confidence to boost.

As long as you practice, you will see weekly improvements. With your consistency in attending your lessons, you will reach your singing goals like so many of my other students.

Experienced teacher for 7 years, specializing in the beginner/ advanced vocal students! I work on breathing, vocal techniques, releasing tension and depending on what the student needs or wants, I can also teach music theory and sight singing.
