About Italian L
I teach private students since 2016, beginners and advanced levels. I worked with different kind of students: beginners that only wanted to learn basic conversations so to be able to speak while in Italy for the summer, moms that want to learn Italian diction so to be able to read Italian books and to sing Italian songs to their kids, beginners with deep interest in Italian grammar and comprehension.
Feel free to contact me with your requests and we'll organize a plan of studies adequate to your requests.

I've been learning English for 15 years, and I came to the US during high school for a cultural exchange program. I think the immersive environment of a foreign language is crucial to the speed and effect of the learning progress. Even though it's not that easy to accomplish in another country, I still try to provide appropriate context to create an environment close to the native scenes. Personally I also study Korean and Spanish, which gives me a perspective on how to learn languages that from different language families, and to study at different ages.
I've been volunteering for the same cultural exchange organization for 8 years, during which time I came to contact with students from different continents and native languages.

Question 1.: Who are you?
Question 2.: Who or what did you want to be prior to any doubt of becoming that was brought to your awareness?
Question 3.: Does it bother you to have fun while learning? (This is not a trick question.)
Well, there you go. So, how did you do? Remember, only you can really answer these specific questions. When it comes to exploring self, which most of my lessons extends from, understanding and being honest with whom, what and where you are is the first step in opening yourself up to learning and evolving.

I have a bachelor's degree in English Language Arts Education, and a Master's degree in English. I am certified through 300 hours of training to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
I was a high school English teacher for ten years, and for the last five years, I have been an adjunct college professor, teaching both Composition and English as a Second Language (ESL). I have also taught English online to students in China, and worked in my college's tutoring center to help students one-to-one.
I meet students at their level and help them advance through lessons and guided practice. Once I know the student's level, my goal of the first lesson is to determine what activities are most effective as they learn.
Depending on the student and their specific learning needs, I use activiti
On top of my education and experience, I have been in your position as a student learning a new language. Whatever mistakes you make, I have probably done the same thing when I was learning to speak Spanish, so I will never think poorly of you and I will help you master your weaknesses.
Most of all, I try to have fun and make my sessions something that my students enjoy as they work. In my 15 years as a high school and college English teacher, I have never had a student that I didn't like. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about them, and you will see from our first session how genuine that is. When you practice and learn from your mistakes in a friendly setting, you will gain confidence to use English in real-world situations.
