I have a special place in my heart for beginning piano students. I treat them more like a grandchild than as a strict classical instructor would. I have eliminated the pressure to learn wherever possible. From the first day, my students learn to read basic music. The lessons I create are customized based on my student's interests, strengths and ability to learn. Each child is unique. Whether they are gifted or special needs, each student gets my full attention. I get a great deal of joy from seeing the faces of my students light up when they accomplish a piece of music.
An intermediate level student holds a special challenge for me. Many times, they come to me having developed bad habits or missing important musical information that could make them a better pianist. I see my role as filling the gaps that they are missing and taking them further from there.
My students come and they stay with me - some for many years. If this is the type of experience you are looking for, then we ...

Book NowLessons with me are a complete learning experience. Everything that I do in flute lessons is geared toward helping students become the best flutist he or she can be regardless of where he or she comes from. In addition to teaching flute, I also make sure that I teach music history, music theory, and body awareness in flute lessons. My goal is to help young flutists become great musicians. I can't wait to get in touch with you!
About Karina
Hi there! My name is Karina Eijo, and I work with young flutists who are sick and tired of struggling alone (been there, done that, bought the t-shirt). I remind them that they are capable of doing anything that they set their minds to, and I give them the tools to learn how to practice so that th

Book NowI would be working on actually understanding the instrument and how the fretboard works. This will eventually make the student independent enough to figure out things himself/herself. The lessons will be divided into technique work, scale work and fretboard harmony. The density of the information will depend on the level of each student personally.
About Aayushi
I'm Aayushi and I'm currently a student at the Juilliard School in New York City. I'm a singer-songwriter/Blues guitarist/Jazz musician here who was primarily self taught before I started my formal education at Juilliard so my method of teaching is going to be something that is easily comprehensibl

Learning a musical instrument should be fun, exciting, and most importantly pain-free.
About Chaul
I have been playing the violin for over 24 years. I like to teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced students regardless of their age. I would prefer beginners to take at least one year of piano lessons prior to learning how to the play the violin. This way students can transfer basic music know

The feedback that I would give is that I wish there was more of a plan for my first lesson. I was simply asked to talk about my musical experience, which is fine, but I wish I was asked to play some scales, riffs, intervals etc. Also, we didn't talk very much about knowing goals for the lesson or for music were so the lesson felt a bit undirected. But music is pretty exploratory so I might be a bit harsh."
