I began acting at the age of 4 where I worked on high-level projects such as Dark Water, Alien vs. Predator – Requiem, and ABC’s Invasion. While working on these projects, I was able to participate in the film production process and work with distinguished creative professionals. I developed my skills in the performing arts through years of training in audition practices, cold readings, improvisation, and voice-over. I also took acting classes at UCSD renowned Theater & Dance Department where I developed my skills for working in a theatrical setting.

So far, I have had only one lesson with Dr. M., the only singing lesson I've had in my entire 66 years of a lifetime. My only regret, is that I did not take them sooner. Dr M. is patient, an expert, and motivational. What more could you ask for when working with a teacher. He thinks he can make a singer out of me; I'll have to trust his judgement. It would be awesome, if he achieves our goal.

I trained at London's Central School Of Speech and Drama (previous alums include Laurence Olivier, Judi Dench and Vanessa Redgrave) plus improv comedy at Uprights Citizens Brigade New York. I have taught at Terry Schrieber Studio, Tom Todoroff Acting Studio, and Brooklyn College.

My approach is relaxed and friendly, to shed inhibitions and release tensions so you can authentically and truthfully inhabit a character, nail an audition monologue and release you vocal and emotional voice.

Yes, this can be hard work, but it's also fun! If you love doing your work, the chances are those you audition for will love it too.

Working with me, gives you the experience of both an actor and a director. I see from inside your character and from your audience. I have worked with actors from first-time neophytes to professionals and styles from method to experimental styles of the 60s to improv and back to Shakespeare. I taught theatre in High School and College as well as community classes for children. I have acted and directed for many years.

About Jeannie

I have been in theatre since I was a child. My first love was acting until I was bitten by the directing bug when I realized I could watch my baby be born as the play came to life. To support myself while going through my theatre degrees, I worked with computer and became certified with Microsoft a

"It really is more (Voice Acting) Script interpretation, and Diction; how to pronounce words in a script or paragraph, correctly. Fawn didn't waste any time, I was concerned about my Skype audio, no problem, and after a little wrangling, I figured out how to send her an audio file, and script I wanted her to look over.
She made notes, gave me suggestions, made comments on what I sent her, I'll do my home work; because I want to improve, and we'll do it again next week; same time time, same station... Sorry couldn't help that! She's the kind of coach I need right now!"

Introduction to Voice Acting: Books & Resources to Check Out

When it comes to the performing arts, voice acting attracts some of the most fiercely dedicated enthusiasts, despite the relative anonymity compared to acting on stage or on screen. In the old days, radio dramas were the most common inspiration for aspiring voice actors. Today, it’s animation. The key component of voice acting, even more than secrecy and seclusion, is versatility. An in-demand voice actor may be called upon to provide the pipes for a cartoon rabbit in a kid's show on Friday, …
