Hello. My lessons are for beginning and intermediate students looking to improve their skills for school band or full drum set. Students will need to have acoustic drums to allow for practice between sessions. We will work on your skill-set relative to your level of experience. Each lesson will build on the next. My goal is to help students grow with their comfort and confidence. If you are comfortable and confident, then you will have fun. It all works together.

About David

I started drumming at the age of 12. First Junior High Band, then High School Band, Drum & Bugle Corp on the weekends, High School Marching Band, High School Jazz Band, Garage Bands, and Rock Bands playing gigs. Then College Band, College Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, and drumming three nights a w

David is an excellent teacher! My son enjoys his personality and is learning so much. He is really growing as a musician after only 3 lessons. David is very flexible and easy to work with. He is easily contacted and promptly responds to any questions we have. Because of his extensive musical experience, David has the skills to teach every genre. We are enjoying his teaching plan on continuing lessons with David for a long time.

Great experience so far. David has been teaching my daughter who is a beginner in Drums, so far so good. He makes sure to send us an email after classes to follow up and assign Homework. Will definitely recommend.

Born in the Midwest, I spent seven graduate years in Paris performing, teaching, and researching. I have come to see music lessons as both an intensely personal process and as an interpersonal process.

To beginners: anyone at any age can learn basic piano skills if they devote ten minutes a day to it.
To intermediate players: my goal is to train you to be your own primary teacher.
To advanced students: I can give you artistic colors for the palette and tools for the journey.

Currently, I can only take new students taking lessons on a weekly basis.

About Laura

Music is personal and brings us into contact both with ourselves and with a force beyond us. I am passionate about the spiritual awareness that results from the study of performing arts. I have worked with ages 3 to 75, with kids, youth, and adults with ADD, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, cerebral palsy, s

My girlfriend and I are both total beginners who had never/rarely sung in front of other people before, but Laura makes us feel super comfortable! I thought it would be a challenge to do singing lessons with two different people, but she gives both of us attention and great tips. She is very knowledgeable and encouraging, and we're both learning a lot! Thank you so much!

The first week is awesome. I had taken a class at a college for a quarter. I did very well and learned a lot. With that, John knew right where to start with me. Looking forward to getting the best sound I can. Thanks, John.

John is THE BEST. He is as knowledgeable as they come, inspires my daughter to become her best self, is communicative and flexible. Honestly, I am scared he will become too popular — he's OURS! <3

I have played blues, hard rock, fingerpicking, folk, and jazz music on the guitar since 2006. I have played onstage in rock bands and jazz combos and received years of private instruction. I am a chronic improviser, a composer, a creative musician, and a music theory geek.

My enthusiasm for the guitar is related to its irreplaceable role in genres that are uniquely and beautifully American like blues, bluegrass, and rock 'n' roll.

I can teach you how to play the basics, how to solo, how to write a song, how to play jazz chords, how to play rock riffs, how to groove, how to fingerpick, or whatever you want to learn.

Check out my guitar lesson demo video on my profile to hear me play!

About Paul

I have played piano my whole life, and I also play guitar and trumpet. I love jazz, classical, contemporary, and rock music and many other diverse styles. I am an improviser, composer, and music theory enthusiast, very in touch with the creative side of music. I’m easygoing and patient. I put

Raycurt is not only knowledgeable, he is extremely skilled. He is thorough and maximizes time by providing superb instruction. My son looks forward to attending his classes; and I am a parent who is beyond pleased with Raycurt’s level of expertise.
Ben E.
This was a really unfortunate and wasted experience. Raycurt was wildly unprepared to teach. He brought a broken metronome and almost no sheet music/lesson plan. I had spoken both to the sales rep and Raycurt himself prior to the lesson and he was still fully unprepared.

I also explained my level of experience and was assured Raycurt was qualified to teach at the level I needed, but he came off as less knowledgable than me, which was particularly disappointing.

Worst of all, after multiple hours of speaking on the phone, I couldn't get my money back for this lesson.

I'd strongly recommend not using takelessons at all, they've put a horrible taste in my mouth for their entire service.

"So I met Daniel a long while back. Background is that I am a retired cop who wants to break out of his comfort zone. At the time, Daniel was much younger, but he still knew his chops. What I liked is how right after we learned something, he would then do the trick for random individuals at the coffee shop to show the style, and way it should be performed. Heck, I was even able to impress my wife with a couple of his tricks.
I recommend him."

6 Mistakes You’re Making on Your Acting Resume

Professional actors often can’t help but feel a little powerless when it comes to the process of auditioning and booking jobs. Sure, from the outside people think that actors have some say in creative aspects, but your input and personal preferences are really quite insignificant in the process (well, not until you're on a Brangelina level at least). So while you're on your way to superstardom, it's smart to leverage the opportunities at hand. The first area you have control of as an actor is …
