My sessions have been nothing but fun! I started playing the ukulele to relieve stress and classes with Zelda has made that possible. Going over chords, correct finger positioning, tempo, and playing popular songs has been exciting and I don't feel pressured. Each lesson is created to match my pace and gradually becomes more difficult as I improve. But, her instruction allows me to pick up the new skills with ease. Since taking classes, I feel I finally have a outlet to relieve stress from work/family through the rhythmic sounds of my ukulele. I would highly recommend this instructor for novice or veteran music lovers.

I've been teaching Bass Guitar for about 15 years. I typically use the Hal Leonard Bass Guitar Method by Ed Freidland books 1, 2 and 3. Great set of books, Covers all aspect of bass playing. Early on, I like to introduce some Blues patterens for the 12 bar blues. These are easy to play but sound great so the students really like them. They give the student an idea of what they will be playing like. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

He is detailed oriented and provides lots of tips on improving my playing. He is also very flexible and allows me to select what I would like to work on whether it be new skills or selecting music I wish to learn. I would very highly recommend him as an instructor.

Eric has taught me a lot in 5 months! He is patient but also corrects my technique which I appreciate. He explains the various skills and techniques making sure that I understand them using efficient fingering. He is also left handed which helps me see the mirror image as I am right handed. Highly recommend him!

"I took around 15 lessons for bass guitar with James and really enjoyed it. James was able to tailor the experience for what I wanted, which was heavy on music theory, but still made sure we applied the theory to the instrument. I had prior experience with some music theory and playing, but hadn't touched my bass in almost 10 years. James was able to figure out exactly where to pick up, provided great materials, and kept me engaged. James is very knowledgeable, a great player, and a cool cat."
