I have played blues, hard rock, fingerpicking, folk, and jazz music on the guitar since 2006. I have played onstage in rock bands and jazz combos and received years of private instruction. I am a chronic improviser, a composer, a creative musician, and a music theory geek.

My enthusiasm for the guitar is related to its irreplaceable role in genres that are uniquely and beautifully American like blues, bluegrass, and rock 'n' roll.

I can teach you how to play the basics, how to solo, how to write a song, how to play jazz chords, how to play rock riffs, how to groove, how to fingerpick, or whatever you want to learn.

Check out my guitar lesson demo video on my profile to hear me play!

About Paul

I have played piano my whole life, and I also play guitar and trumpet. I love jazz, classical, contemporary, and rock music and many other diverse styles. I am an improviser, composer, and music theory enthusiast, very in touch with the creative side of music. I’m easygoing and patient. I put

Alex has inspired my son to love playing music for the rest of his life. I can't think of a more wonderful gift. His technique in teaching allowed my son to enjoy learning guitar by playing songs he wanted to play. This made him want to practice just for the fun of it! Alex taught my son from the time he was 9 years old until he was 15. The easy going, positive attitude Alex exudes encouraged my son along his journey and made a strong bond and connection between the two of them. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone who would like to learn to play guitar to sign up for lessons with Alex!

I teach piano both as a starting to other instruments and as a goal in and of itself. My method is to teach as much as I can in the learning style of the student. I have taught from every available piano method book out there. The goal is not to get through each book as quick as we can. The goal is to become a student who enjoys making music. The student and I work as much as we can during the lesson time on the understanding of the songs, method, style, and theory of music. Therefore, if a someone does not have much time for practice during a week, as happens for time to time, they will still learn and progress.

About Shae

I am an music instructor with 30 years of experience. I have a Bachelor's degree in Sacred Music with a major in Voice. I have been playing piano for 38 years with having been an accompanist for choirs and soloists and a pianist at weddings and churches. I am a believer that anyone can learn pia

My 2 girls started with Shae when they were 5 years old and both enjoyed their lessons. Shae is patience and good with kids. Even though we don't have the best schedule, the girls liked her so much I couldn't switch to a different teacher even though it could have saved me a few dollars too.

Shae is a great teacher, she is very patient, and my son enjoys his lessons. We have been with Shae for several years, and it has been fun watching my son's ability grow during that time.

Singing lessons that bring out the best in your voice! I am happy teaching a wide reange of genres related to singing (Though my speciality as a performer is in classical music). I believe that a strong foundation in musicality and vocal health can benefit anyone, and from that I can you move towards that specific style and aesthetic they are after, while emphasizing the strengths of uour natural voice. For younger students, the focus is more on instilling a joy of music as a whole and promoting musical literacy and ear skills. I believe that even if a someone does not pursue music long term, musical exposure can benefit focus, creativity, and confidence, as well as provide a healthy dose of fun.

I hold a Master's of Music in Voice from the University of Minnesota with a strong emphasis in vocal pedgagoy and phisiology. I look forward to working with you or your child and helping guide the voice to its maximum potential

"Jennifer has been the biggest blessing to our family by coaching my daughter! Despite my daughter being an all honors and AP student there is still so much that she has learned from Jennifer. My daughter has benefited greatly from how Jennifer explains the concepts with patience and knowledge of the material. My daughter has described Jennifer as “ really nice and easy to talk to and ask questions”. Jeniffer has coached my daughter in AP Chemistry, Precalc and currently AP Calculus and SAT. As a mom, it’s the best thing when you know that your child will do well in a class because Jennifer is there to help her! You will be so pleased if you work with Jennifer and you definitely reach you goal of doing very well in the class! Thanks a million Jennifer for helping my daughter achieve her goal!!!!"

"I took my first math course with Professor Slepoi at Union County College back in Fall 2015. Professor Slepoi was very interested in math and often expressed his interest in the material. Up to now, I still remember how passionate he is about math and as an Engineering Student, I began to realize why math is so important. His passion for math translated to me the urge to dig deeper into math material and has made me pursue a minor in applied mathematics."
