About Frank
I am from Peru, which is where I started my career in teaching. For nearly five years I taught Spanish as a Second Language to American young adults who were preparing to serve Spanish-speaking missions in South America.

Additionally, I was a Spanish editor. Through producing and editing countless Spanish magazines, pamphlets, articles, interviews, and ads, I developed great attention to detail and excelled in the correct and elegant use of the Spanish language. I also worked as an Advertising Manager and Marketing Manager for several educational institutions.

Lately, I have worked as a
Spanish Instructor for Language Bird in Los Angeles. During that time, I taught students and career professionals from the basic, intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish. Currently, I'm working as a Spanish Instructor at Ross Stores Distribution Center, and as a Latin American Culture and Spanish Instructor for the U.S. Air Force.

I am an instructor who is professional, flexible, easy-going, patient, friendly, and very interested in my students' progress.

I look forward to meeting you.

About Hadi
I am a working musician (my band performs >50 times in a year) in the Philadelphia area. I play piano, electric piano and hammond organ. With my band, I play Funk, New Orleans, Classic Rock and Blues and I also perform piano solo in Jazz, Pop/Rock and Blues.

I have been playing keys for over 20 years and graduated from Berklee College of Music with a major in Jazz Composition and Music Production & Engineering. I have taught students, teenagers, adult and small children as young as 5 years old. My teaching is focused on stylistic piano playing (chord playing, improvisation, transposition) f
or students over 10 years with at least 1 year continuous piano training. I certainly welcome piano training for beginners as early as preparatory level. Digital piano and digital hammond organ are available at my house for piano tutoring should you choose to come to my location.

My graduate study was in Acoustics. I am an acoustical consultant and also an audio engineer. I specialized in room acoustics and electro-acoustics (loudspeaker design). I have a studio at home and open to audio tutoring (recording and mixing) request as well.

I am originally from Indonesia and have already published two books. I can help with Indonesian language tutoring for English native speakers. I have done many seminars/workshops both in English and Indonesian.

I welcome tutoring requests in Music (Piano, Composition/Arranging), Music Theory, Music Production or other Audio/Acoustics related topics.

Piano Lessons
Working with Hadi is a true pleasure. He has an immense amount of knowledge and experience to boot. Hadi is extremely easy to work with and has tons of patience while in the lesson. He has a keen ability to analyze where you are as a player and build a personalized plan to reach your goals. I highly recommend him as a teacher for pursuing jazz piano as well as other contemporary styles.

Mr. Hadi is a very patient and knowledgeable piano teacher. My son definitely enjoys learning piano and music theory with him. I can see that Mr. Hadi keeps a progress chart for each of his students,. My son is just a beginner level student, but he still gets personalized content from Mr. Hadi.

My goal is not to show off my son's piano skill at family gathering, but to encourage him appreciate and enjoy music. Thanks to Mr. Hadi for helping me reaching this goal.

It was my first piano learning lesson, and Hadi is the greatest teacher. As an adult, I thought it will be hard to understand the material but Hadi gave a very good explanation. Quick responses, and absolutely great value for a private lesson. He is so patient. Worth it!!!

Hadi Sumoro is an excellent teacher, and an even better player. As a teacher, he's patient, knowledgable, and provides excellent advice that helps you develop your skills. And as a player, he is as good as it gets. He can play just about anything. Best was that he takes the time to speak with you and ask what kind of atmosphere you want to create with music, and then does exactly what was asked.

About Tatevik
I am a highly professional and results-driven ESL teacher with experience in the development and delivery of language programs to a wide variety of clients encompassing diverse backgrounds, beginners to advanced, from students and migrants to business professionals. Moreover, I volunteered for LAVC back in 2008-9 at the Learning Center teaching Spanish to non-Spanish speakers and students with disabilities. As a highly compassionate and approachable teaching professional, with over 10 years of hands-on teaching experience, I am confident in my ability to become a valuable member of your teachi
ng staff. My qualifications include two M.A. degrees, one in Linguistics from CSUN and another in Linguistics and Intercultural Communication from Saint-Petersburg State University. Currently, I am in the program for TESL/TESOL certificate at CSUN. My professional experience includes two years as an English teacher in Armenia and Russia and almost three years as an ESL instructor here in the US. Research and formal education in intercultural communication and negotiations gave an amazing opportunity to explore the diversity of the world and apply the gained knowledge as an ESL teacher. As an instructor at Kaplan Westwood, I oversaw a period where the school achieved the best student review rates in the area and was commended for my performance. This role demanded the regular creation of learning materials, the teaching of lessons, workshops and intensive courses, the preparation of progress reports. One of the effective ways I assist ESL students is by developing and presenting comprehensible and stimulating lesson plans that facilitate leaning and fit all learning styles. I also incorporate variety of resources like audio, visual, and video.

Ivey was my ESL tutor in college and later my Korean tutor. I needed to travel to Korea for an internship and she recommended the best books for conversational Korean, helped me with basic Korean skills and she even hooked me up with her friends in Korea for some cultural experience. She is a great tutor and a great person.

Ivey has a great sense of humor and is absolutely a delight to work with. I needed Korean lessons to prepare myself for TeachforAmerica in Korea and she made it super enjoyable with her lessons. She utilizes KDrama and Korean songs to supplement listening and conversational Korean. She even took into account some of my favorite Korean bands for supplements in the lessons. She likes to challenge you but makes it fun so it works out at the end. I would definitely recommend her. If you are a KPOP fan, she is your choice.

About Bora
Hello,

I just moved to America in the Summer of 2017! Everything is new and exciting. I am still learning how to live here. It is a great experience.

I lived the rest of my life in Bucheon South Korea, between Incheon and Seoul. I have a bachelor's in theology and a masters in sculpture. I have also taken Korean teaching certification classes. I was an Engish teacher since 2010. I taught all ages between kindergarten and high school.

I have shifting interests, I am currently into cooking and cake design. I like to make intricate flowers out of buttercream.

I largely learned English by
watching Friends. There is no bad way to go about language learning so long as you put the time in! I would be happy to help you on your journey.
