The first week is awesome. I had taken a class at a college for a quarter. I did very well and learned a lot. With that, John knew right where to start with me. Looking forward to getting the best sound I can. Thanks, John.

John is THE BEST. He is as knowledgeable as they come, inspires my daughter to become her best self, is communicative and flexible. Honestly, I am scared he will become too popular — he's OURS! <3

I started learning the drums to understand how to play bass with a drummer better! It really stuck, and the drums are likely my favorite instrument of all. I can teach basic hand independence, proper playing technique, reading sheet music, and drum beats.

About Quentin

I go to the University of Georgia for Double Bass Performance. I've spent about 9 years learning and sharing everything I can about this wonderfully complex instrument. So many genres of music can be played on the double bass, and once you add my secondary instrument, the bass guitar, you're a nece

Bobby's a very enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgeable drummer who also knows how to teach well. Often times musicians don't always know how to teach their craft, talented as they may be, but Bobby certainly knows both how to play and how to teach. I'd recommend him to anyone wanting to learn or brush up on their drumming skills.
Matt R.
Bobby has a wealth of knowledge and passion about music and can help you learn how to play your favorite songs on drums from any genre (alternative, indie, pop, hip-hop, jazz, classic rock, dance and more). 2 months ago, I knew nothing about drums, and in just 9 lessons so far I can now play a handful of songs and grooves. I learn so much each lesson, and Bobby does everything he can to help me succeed. I highly recommend Bobby.

Garrett has been teaching DJing to my 11 year old son for several months now. Garrett has really helped him find something he's passionate about (something I think is priceless in itself). John, Is a knowledgeable and friendly drum teacher that is eager to help you reach your drum performance goals. Being a guitar player first, my lessons with John have been at a sporadic beginner pace as I attempt to generate time for both worlds. That being said John has been very patient and accommodating, and I'm sure he will help me dial in my drum skills.

"Keith is Great!

I have been taking lessons with Keith for over 5 years now, and he's the best instructor i've ever taken from. I originally went to him in High School because I wanted to attend music school. Keith taught me all the essentials and more to obtain a music degree and career in music. We studied all the basics like rudiments, technique, and reading, as well as groove, feel, and equipment. He is very knowledgable on the whole field of music and drums. He is not limited to only one style like most teachers I have scene, but rather is able to expand and open up every students horizons. Every lesson i have taken with Keith was very focused and i left feeling good about myself while wanting to push myself more to become better. In one lesson Keith can teach more than most other drum instructors. Its not just about one thing but rather he gives you the whole spectrum from triplets to making sure you have the right gear for the gig and the attitude. He even touches on little things like having spare heads in the car on gigs which has been a life saver for me, where as most teachers don't brush on the little things that are very important in a professional drummers life. Keith is more than just a teacher but has become a friend and a colleague, and pushes every student to be better and better."

"Fantastic!!!

My son started taking trumpet lessons with Jesse last summer, but soon confessed that he really didn't like the instrument. He asked if he could try drums. I suggested that he do that and perhaps try some guitar or keyboards also. He has stuck with drums and loves it, but also asked Jesses to help him with a vocal song he'd like to perform for his school's talent show this spring. I LOVE the fact that Jesse can help him try out so many different aspects of musicianship in his fabulous in-house studio! The first "recital"/jam session was so amazing that my 9 year old daughter asked if she could also take lessons with Jesse. Now both of my kiddos are singing, Jamming and keyboarding together, and it is so much fun.
I hated piano lessons as a kid. I was always in trouble for not practicing enough, but everything the teacher gave me to work on was so unappealing. I wanted a different music experience for my kids. I have found it with Jesse. He is so talented and inspiring. He listens to his students and gently moves them to accomplish amazing results. With his back help, even beginning students can feel like they are part of a band and really making music.
I feel so fortunate to have found Jesse and for my kids to have such a positive and well rounded musical introduction. I have even decided to take guitar lessons for myself now!
My husband had similar negative music experience as I did as a child and was very negative about my efforts to have our kids take music lessons at all until he came to the first recital/jam session at Jesse's studio. He loved it and could completely appreciate how much fun the kids were having learning how to play music in a more modern and flexible environment."

"Michael has been very patient and flexible with my inconsistent schedule as a working adult. He brings a positive energy with a lot of praise and positive reinforcement that makes me look forward to my weekly lesson. If learning how to play drums is on your new years resolution/bucket list, Michael makes that commitment a fun experience! I've tried a few drum teachers but I especially noticed a huge improvement in my drum skills since I started lessons with Michael. I've played songs that I wouldn't have imagined playing a year ago. He is of course very knowledgable with the drums, published his own drum lesson book, but he doesn't just go through rudiments or textbook material. He gives various resources that are useful in drumming and never makes the learning experience dull. Very professional and easy-to-approach guy, I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn drums, especially if you're an adult wanting to try something new!"
