Stacey created an environment that was extremely conducive to learning. She is not only very knowledgeable but she presents information in an easy and relaxing manner. Being a novice I did not feel overwhelmed or intimidated by what she asked of me. Very quickly she was able to discern where to take the lesson that instilled the greatest confidence and yet focused on the most immediate opportunities for moving forward. She’s fun, enthusiastic, and informative and made an hour lesson seem like fifteen minutes. I look forward to working with her in the future. I would strongly recommend her.

I had my first singing lesson with Jenna yesterday, and it was an exciting experience. I had not sung in over 30 years and was concerned about what condition my voice was in. Jenna was very encouraging and understanding . She had a tremendous knowledge of the music that I wanted to sing

I can't wait for my next lesson.

I only had a few lessons with Nan-Yu, but she helped me greatly improve. She wasn't just focused on me completing the piece, but on the musicality of what I was playing. I feel like my tone greatly improved and my consciousness of what I was playing.

About Todd

About Guitar Lessons With Todd

"Todd is a very gifted and motivated guitarist with an uncommon aptitude for teaching."
Rodney Stucky

"Todd is passionate about teaching, and dedicates himself to this with utmost energy and purpose. He is always extremely successful in producing a high level of achievement with every student." Jeffrey Van

One of the most important duties of a competent instructor is teaching students how to practice. This is just as true for the rank beginner as it is for the advanced student, or even professional. Everyone can learn to play music and play it well if
given competent instruction. Learning to play well is learning about the mind and body, and how to use it to one's potential. As the awareness of the self is refined, not only is the playing improved, but the potential for greatness is elevated. Learning to perform music with security and confidence is fun!

Kristen W.

Cincinnati, OH

About Kristen

Hi everyone!! My name is Kristen and I am voice and piano teacher located in the Cincinnati area.
A little about my teaching style:
In my lessons you will learn not only vocal and piano technique but how to read music, sight reading, and for my more advanced students we may incorporate music theory in as well.
The genre music that we work on in our lessons will be up to the student. The student and myself will work together to find the best fit for them. I currently teach either online or at the student's home. I am working on getting a space for students to come to me and I will post
that when that comes available.

A little about myself and education background:
I have recently graduated from Miami University with my Masters of Music in vocal performance. During my time there I did teach voice lessons through the university as part of my graduate assistantship as well as private voice and piano lessons on my own. My background has mostly been in classical music but I has experience teaching and singing other genres such as pop, jazz, and musical theater. I am an active musican in the Cincinnati area and I have performed regularly with several local opera companies around Cincinnati and Columbus.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. I look forward to hearing from you.
