Tom was absolutely fantastic. He seemed to be genuinely interested in my progress and just as excited as I was about me picking up the piano again - over 20 years since I’d last had lessons - which was an excellent motivator. I may have gone home and practices for a few hours. I look forward to continuing my lessons with him.

I have taught, tutored and teach Spanish to USA Veterans and students struggling around campus for years. I have years of academic and practical usage/experience with the language. I grew up hearing it and studied it in high school and at the college level. I know what it is like to be a student in a Spanish class as well as using it in real life application. I also have 2 minors in Spanish Language and Latino/a and Latin American Studies (Formerly known as CBS: Chicano-Boricua Studies) which give me the perfect mix of language and culture.

I am very patient and work on your level. I have years of academic and practical usage/experience with the language. I use that experience to put myself in your shoes and give tips and cultural things that may help you better understand your new language. Also, my knowledge of Psychology helps us hack learning in a time-efficient way. No question is ever a dumb question and we will spend as much time on a topic as needed.

About Jamone

I am very organized and have a passion for creating and doing things that give people a new perspective on life. I set plans and goals, and do what it takes to get things done in the most efficient ways possible and I am able to adapt even when things don’t quite work out. As a 2nd Degree Black Be

Had to write a separate review for this subject. Jamone taught me step-by-step how to use my Cannon Rebel EOS T5. I am a youtube vlogger, and I was looking to create higher quality videos for my viewers. Jamone gave me tons of camera knowledge to better my videos. Thanks!

As a clarinetist, it made perfect sense to me to pick up the saxophone. It is a great instrument to play. I really enjoy it.

I teach beginning and intermediate levels of saxophone. I use the rubank books as well as a few other books for saxophone books.

Heather is a great teacher; she is able to gauge ability and keeps the lessons varied and interesting, always pushing you just at the edge, beyond what you thought you were capable of. Friendly, amiable, and laidback in style, she makes learning in a comfortable atmosphere fun. You can tell she has a real passion for music and teaching, and results after just a few lessons proves she knows what she is doing.

I am a beginning singer, my only prior experience was singing with the congregation in church, not the choir.
Quinn
She's really nice, and makes warm-ups before starting the lesson for your voice range. The variety of songs you can sing is pretty big, you want to sing in Italian? There's plenty! Want to sing in Latin? I'm pretty sure there's a few! There are songs from various musicals, too. All in all, she's a pretty great teacher.

I've really been enjoying lessons and have been getting a lot out of them! Flexibility with scheduling concerns has also been well appreciated!

My daughter was so nervous for her first lesson and Phillip was amazing. She is 14 and said, "He didn't make me feel bad that I am not as good as I should be and so that makes me feel like maybe i can play better."
So grateful Phillip - she is anxious to spend the summer learning from you - we appreciate your approach and as he said ability to "put her at ease" so she can feel comfortable to learn. Awesome first lesson.

Hello Students,
I have been playing most of my life. I started playing professionally at 17, playing with a number of professional bands playing all over Michigan. I have been teaching drum students since the age of 19, teaching well over 500 students to date.

Teaching students has been one of my passions with music. I hope to motivate my students to learn to play and love the drums as much as I do.

I work with each student on an individual basis to help them learn and understand drumming technique using books and techniques that will help to develop instinctive skills and ear technique.

I work with snare drum / rudimental technique with all my students and drum set technique, as most students want to learn how to play a drum set. Many of my students are in school band learning snare drum and percussion technique. Basic snare drum technique is important for any student to master and understand to learn to apply to snare drum and drum set technique.

"Encouraging, supportive, first class instructor. I signed up for lessons after I realized the kit I bought was above my knowledge level. It's been an awesome experience. I am more confident in reading instructions and making the (pattern specified) numerous different stitches. F2F lessons is the best; its been an awesome experience. I will take more lessons from Karen - she's just that good; a real gem for "take lessons"."

I knew this was going to be very good, because he asked several pertinent questions, which let him know my general level. That way, he could already have a plan when we first met. Improvement is already evident after the first lesson. I plan on many more sessions with JP."

"I started taking lessons with Dipankar in November. At that point my rating was 1200-1300 on Chess.com. I have improved my rating to be around 1500.

Dipankar teaches in a way that makes you think about different positions and different strategies as if they were occurring in a game. He doesn't just give you the solution, he makes you talk him through your logic, and then points out any flaws / improvements that there may be. Ultimately, in a dynamic way, he has been able to improve my game.

I came to realize that the main reasons I was losing games was either an early tactical mistake, or a blunder mid game. Dipankar showed me how to think through each move, and some common problems to avoid.

I look forward to continuing lessons with Dipankar, and continuing to grow my game / rating."
